The apartment itself has this understated elegance thing going on. The grey color scheme could’ve felt cold or sterile, but they’ve done something clever with the lighting and textures that makes it feel more like a sophisticated friend’s place than a hotel room. The sauna was honestly the highlight for me – and I’m usually skeptical of amenities that sound too good to be true in apartment rentals. It’s not huge, but it’s properly hot and clean, which is really all you need after a long day of walking around. I found myself using it way more than I expected, especially since it never felt crowded (I think a lot of guests don’t even realize it’s there). The gym is pretty basic – think a few machines, some free weights, nothing fancy – but it gets the job done if you’re trying to stick to a routine while traveling.

What I really appreciated were the little details that show someone actually thought about what travelers need. The kitchen has proper knives that cut things, not those useless dull ones you usually find. There’s enough outlets near the bed, and – this might sound weird – but the shower pressure is actually decent. I’ve stayed in five-star places where the water just sort of dribbles out pathetically. The 8.1 rating seems about right to me; it’s solidly good without being perfect. The walls aren’t super thick, so if you’re a light sleeper and there are families with kids around, you might hear some footsteps above. But it’s not terrible, just something to keep in mind. Check-in was smooth through their system, though I did have to call once when the door code wasn’t working – turned out to be user error on my part, and they sorted it out quickly. The location worked well for me, though I can’t speak to specifics since the address wasn’t clear when I booked. What I can say is that it felt like a real neighborhood rather than a touristy area, which I personally prefer. You get a better sense of how people actually live, plus restaurants and shops tend to be more reasonably priced.
