The view just hits you immediately through those floor-to-ceiling windows. I mean, you’re looking out over the entire city center, and on a clear day you can see all the way to the Vistula.

The apartment itself is actually really well put together – someone clearly thought about how people actually live and travel. The kitchen has everything you’d need if you want to grab groceries from the Żabka downstairs (there’s always a Żabka, right?), and the living area flows nicely into that dining space near the windows. I spent way too much time just watching the city wake up with my morning coffee. The bedroom’s tucked away from the street noise, which is clutch because Warsaw traffic can get pretty intense, especially if you’re anywhere near the main thoroughfares. Speaking of noise – it’s surprisingly quiet up there, even with all the construction that seems to be constantly happening around the city center.

Location-wise, you’re really in the thick of things without being right on top of the touristy chaos. I could walk to the Old Town in about fifteen minutes, maybe twenty if I stopped for pierogi along the way (which, let’s be honest, always happened). The Palace of Culture is practically your neighbor – you can see it looming there from the windows, and honestly it grows on you after a few days. Metro access is solid, and if you’re into the whole food scene, you’re close enough to all those trendy spots in Powiśle but far enough that you’re not dealing with weekend crowds right outside your door. The building itself is secure, which I appreciated – you need a key card for everything, and the lobby feels more upscale than the exterior suggests. Check-in was smooth, though I’d recommend confirming the exact building entrance beforehand since GPS sometimes gets confused in that area. One small thing – the WiFi was reliable but not lightning fast, so if you’re planning to work remotely or upload tons of photos, just keep that in mind. Overall though, for the price point and that view? It’s honestly a great base for exploring Warsaw, especially if you want something that feels more like living in the city rather than just visiting it.
