Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name “Manhattan Place & Movie Projector,” I wasn’t sure what to expect. It sounds a bit quirky, maybe even gimmicky, you know? But honestly, this place completely won me over, and now I get why it’s pulling in those perfect ratings.

The whole movie theme actually works really well without being cheesy about it. I mean, they’ve got this genuine vintage projector in the lobby that’s clearly been restored with care, not just some prop they grabbed from a warehouse. The rooms are what really impressed me though – each one has this subtle film noir vibe going on, with these gorgeous black and white photographs of classic movie scenes on the walls. Nothing over the top, just really thoughtful touches that make the space feel special. The beds are ridiculously comfortable too, which honestly matters more than any theme when you’re actually trying to sleep. I stayed on the third floor and it was surprisingly quiet – you’d think being in Manhattan you’d hear everything, but the windows must be really well insulated.

What I loved most was how the staff actually seemed to care about the details. Check-in was smooth, no standing around forever like at some places, and the front desk guy knew exactly which nearby coffee shop opened earliest (crucial information, trust me). The bathrooms are spotless with those thick towels that don’t feel like sandpaper, and they’ve got really good water pressure – I know that sounds mundane, but you notice when it’s bad. There’s also this little screening room on the second floor where they show classic movies a couple nights a week, which is such a cool touch. I caught part of Casablanca one evening and there were maybe eight people there, just enjoying this intimate little movie experience you’d never find at a chain hotel. The whole building has this warm, lived-in feeling that makes you want to actually hang out in the common areas instead of just hiding in your room. Parking can be a bit tricky in this part of town – I ended up using a garage about two blocks away – but that’s pretty standard for the area. The location puts you within walking distance of some really solid restaurants and you’re close enough to the subway that getting around is easy. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re staying somewhere with actual personality instead of just another generic hotel room.

  We were really impressed when we came into the apparts. It's really nice, cozy, clean and comfortable. We liked the large balcony with chairs., where we can sit and relax. In appartment there are we'll equipped kitchen with coffee maker, nessesary dishes and kitchen tools for different wants.

  Wszystko w jak najlepszym porządku. Czysto i wygodnie dla rodziny 5 osobowej. Możliwość dostawienia łóżeczka dla dziecka ułatwiło nam pobyt bez konieczności zabierania swojego. W mieszkaniu wszystko co potrzebne suszarka do włosów, żelazko, kuchnia w pełni wyposażona.
  Dogodna lokalizacja. Polecam jak najbardziej 🙂

  Apartament jest wyposażony we wszystko, czego tylko dusza zapragnie. Bardzo stylowe wnętrze, super czysto, przemiły kontakt z właścicielem, blisko do metra. Cudowny pobyt! Świetny balkon, na którym z przyjemnością można spożywać posiłki. Wygodne łóżka. Duże wrażenie zrobiła też na nas jakość filmu wyświetlanego przez projektor.
