No fancy amenities you’ll never use, no pretentious lobby that makes you feel underdressed, just solid hospitality in a spot that puts you right where you want to be. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle if you’re driving – the streets around there weren’t exactly designed for modern cars – but there are options within a couple blocks. And honestly, once you’re there, you won’t need the car anyway. The whole Old Town opens up from your doorstep, and when you’re done playing tourist for the day, you’ve got this cozy home base waiting. Sometimes the places with the weird names and modest star ratings end up being exactly what you didn’t know you were looking for.
