Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Marszałkowska White & Black Apartment on one of Warsaw’s busiest streets, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect from this four-star property. The building itself blends right into the urban landscape of Śródmieście, but once you step inside, there’s this immediate sense that you’ve found something special. The black and white design theme isn’t just a clever name — it actually runs throughout the space in a way that feels sophisticated without being pretentious.

Location That Actually Matters

You know what really struck me about this place? The location score of 9.2 isn’t just marketing fluff — it’s genuinely earned. Being right on Marszałkowska means you’re literally in the pulse of the city, and I mean that in the best way possible. The Palace of Culture and Science is practically next door, and you can walk to the Old Town in about fifteen minutes if you’re feeling energetic. What I loved most was having the metro station so close — it makes getting around the city ridiculously easy, especially if you want to explore beyond the center.

The Apartment Experience

The apartment itself surprised me with how thoughtfully designed it was. The room layout maximizes every inch of space without feeling cramped, and that monochrome color scheme actually works to make everything feel larger and more cohesive. The kitchen is compact but functional — perfect for making morning coffee or heating up some pierogi from the market downstairs. I appreciated the attention to detail in the furnishings; everything feels intentional rather than just thrown together.

The Neighborhood Vibe

Staying here puts you right in the middle of Warsaw’s energy, which can be both exciting and overwhelming depending on what you’re after. During the day, Marszałkowska buzzes with locals heading to work and tourists exploring, but it settles down nicely in the evenings. There’s a decent selection of restaurants within walking distance, and I found myself gravitating toward the smaller side streets where you’ll find some genuinely good Polish food. The area feels safe, even late at night, though it’s definitely urban — don’t expect quiet countryside vibes.

Why Guests Love It

I can see why couples rate this place so highly for romantic getaways. There’s something about the sleek design and central location that makes it feel like you’re having a proper city break rather than just crashing somewhere convenient. The fact that you can walk to most major attractions means you spend more time exploring and less time figuring out transportation. Plus, having your own space with a proper kitchen gives you flexibility that hotel rooms just can’t match — whether that’s enjoying breakfast at your own pace or having a quiet evening in after a day of sightseeing. It’s smart, well-located, and genuinely comfortable.

you get your money’s worth

good positioning, pretty modern

What could be improved: we arrived at 16:00 which was the check in hour mentioned after being told that no early check-in can be made for us. everything was a mess, pillows and blankets on the floor, dirty bathroom, a sign that the apartment wasn’t cleaned after the previous visitors. at 16:30 the cleaning lady came and mentioned something about an email that we shoud’ve received saying that the apartment wasn t ready =))). of course there was no email, probably she must’ve overslept as she was kinda dizzy. Anyways we checked in at 18:00 after she was done with the cleaning. When it was time to leave we asked for a checkout at 12:00 instead of 11:00 as a way to pay us for the 2h lost at the check-in and to help us as our train wouldn’t leave until 15:00. The answer was no because, and I cite, “We have to make sure the next guests have the apartment ready before check-in”, then why wasn’t mine ready before check-in?

Poza tym wszystko ok.

What could be improved: Drzwi wejściowe jak do schronu. Takie zimne, nieprzyjemne.
Nie ma to wpływu na przebywanie wewnątrz.
