The name absolutely doesn’t do it justice – I was honestly expecting something pretty basic, but this place punches way above what you’d think from calling itself “standard.” I mean, with a 9.3 rating, I should’ve known better, but still. The moment you walk in, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually thought about how people live, not just how to cram tourists into rooms. The apartments feel lived-in in the best possible way – like they’re designed by people who’ve actually stayed in vacation rentals and know what drives you crazy about most of them.

What really gets me is the attention to detail that you only notice after you’ve been there a day or two. The kitchen actually has sharp knives (miracle!), there are enough outlets near the bed for your phone and whatever else, and – this might sound weird – but the shower pressure is actually incredible. I’ve stayed at supposedly fancier places where you’re basically getting misted by sad, lukewarm water, but here it’s like they understand that a good shower can make or break your morning. The whole place has this comfortable, unshowy vibe that just works. Nothing’s trying too hard to impress you, but everything functions exactly like it should. The beds are properly comfortable too, not those rock-hard mattresses some places think count as “firm support.”

Honestly, the 4-star rating feels about right – it’s not trying to be some luxury palace, but it’s genuinely well-done in all the ways that matter when you’re actually living somewhere for a few days. The kind of place where you find yourself thinking “okay, I could definitely see myself staying here again” instead of just counting down until checkout. I actually ended up extending my stay because, well, why mess with a good thing? If you’re looking for something that feels more like borrowing a really nice friend’s apartment than staying in a hotel, this is your spot. Just don’t expect flashy lobbies or concierge services – the magic here is in getting the fundamentals absolutely right.
