Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Mennica Residence Apartments by P&O Serviced Apartments, you immediately get that “this is actually someone’s home” feeling — which makes sense, because these are proper apartments, not just hotel rooms with a kitchenette thrown in. The building itself has this sleek, modern vibe that fits perfectly with the Wola district’s ongoing transformation from industrial area to one of Warsaw‘s most happening neighborhoods. I mean, you’re literally staying in what used to be the Polish Mint building, so there’s this cool historical element mixed with contemporary design.
Location & Neighborhood
Here’s what I love about this spot — you’re right in the heart of everything without being stuck in the touristy Old Town bubble. Grzybowska Street is honestly one of the best addresses in Warsaw right now, with the Warsaw Spire and other business towers nearby, plus some fantastic restaurants that locals actually frequent. The four-star rating makes perfect sense when you consider that couples consistently rate the location a 9.3 out of 10. You can walk to the central train station in about 10 minutes, and there’s this great food hall called Hala Koszyki just a few blocks away where you’ll find everything from craft beer to proper Polish pierogi.
The Apartment Experience
What sets this place apart is that you’re getting a real apartment, not just a room with hotel service. Each unit comes with a full kitchen (not just a mini-fridge and microwave situation), separate living areas, and honestly, enough space that you won’t feel cramped even if you’re staying for a week or more. The P&O team has clearly put thought into the details — good Wi-Fi, proper lighting for working, and appliances that actually function well. You know how sometimes serviced apartments feel like someone just threw random furniture together? This isn’t that.
Practical Perks
The parking situation alone makes this place worth considering if you’re driving — having guaranteed on-site spots in central Warsaw is honestly a game-changer. I’ve seen too many travelers spend half their vacation circling blocks looking for somewhere to leave their car. Plus, there’s a decent restaurant in the building, though with all the great dining options in the neighborhood, you might find yourself exploring more than staying in. The building also has this nice lobby area where you can actually sit and work or meet people, which you don’t always get with apartment-style accommodations.
Why Guests Love It
The 8.2 rating reflects what most people discover — this place delivers on the promise of giving you a proper base in Warsaw rather than just somewhere to sleep. Couples especially seem to appreciate having space to spread out and the freedom to grab groceries and cook dinner together if they want to. The location keeps getting those high marks because you’re genuinely well-positioned for both business and leisure, whether you’re heading to meetings in the financial district or exploring the city’s cultural sites. It’s that sweet spot where you get hotel-level service with the comfort and flexibility of having your own place.
To book a hotel in Warsaw during major European summits, travelers need early planning as this political capital draws visitors eager to experience its reconstructed old town and modern business districts.

Guest Reviews
Wonderful
The apartment was very nice. It was clean, spacious, and in a great location.
What could be improved: I had trouble initiating a communication with the host. Even though I paid in full, I was asked to pay a deposit again to receive check-in information. Not knowing if I would be able to enter the apartment was very stressful.
