Hotel Description
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name “Mennica Residence – Two Bedroom Apartment with Terrrace&144,” I thought someone had a serious typo situation going on with their booking system. But you know what? Don’t let the clunky name fool you because this place actually turned out to be one of those pleasant surprises that makes you feel pretty smug about your accommodation choices.
The apartment itself is spacious in that European way where you’re not bumping into furniture every time you turn around – which, let’s face it, happens way too often in most city stays. Two proper bedrooms mean you can actually spread out, and the terrace (yes, they spelled it wrong in the name, but who cares) is where this place really shines. I mean, there’s something about having your morning coffee outside that just makes the whole trip feel more authentic, you know? The terrace gets decent light most of the day, though it can get a bit warm in the afternoon if you’re visiting during summer months. The kitchen is actually functional too – not just some sad little kitchenette with a broken coffee maker. I managed to make proper meals there, which honestly saved me a fortune and let me try some local ingredients from the nearby markets.
Now, it’s rated 4 stars and sitting at a 7.5 rating, which feels about right. It’s not going to blow your mind with luxury touches, but it’s solid and comfortable in ways that matter when you’re actually living there for a few days. The Wi-Fi works properly (thank god), the shower has decent pressure, and the beds are comfortable enough that I wasn’t counting sheep until 2 AM. Check-in was straightforward – no drama, no waiting around for someone to show up with keys. The building itself has that slightly worn but well-maintained feel that you find in a lot of European residential areas. You’re staying in what feels like a real neighborhood rather than some sterile hotel district, which I personally love. You’ll hear normal life sounds – kids playing, neighbors chatting – but nothing that kept me awake at night. Actually, it made the whole experience feel more genuine, like I was getting a glimpse into how people actually live there rather than just passing through as a tourist. The location puts you close enough to interesting stuff without being right in the middle of all the tourist chaos, and honestly, that balance is harder to find than you’d think.
