Overview

You know what? I was honestly a bit skeptical when I first pulled up to Metro Bielany Apartments on Nocznickiego street – the building looks pretty standard from the outside, nothing fancy. But here’s the thing about this place that surprised me: it’s actually perfect for people who want to experience Warsaw like a local rather than being stuck in some touristy bubble downtown. Bielany is this residential district that most visitors never see, and I mean that in the best way possible. You’ve got families walking their dogs, little corner shops where the owners remember your face after two visits, and honestly some of the best pierogi I had in Warsaw was at this tiny place just three blocks away that I never would’ve found if I’d stayed in the Old Town area.

The apartment itself – well, it’s exactly what you’d expect from a solid 4-star setup, but with some nice touches that show someone actually thought about what travelers need. The parking situation alone makes this worth considering if you’re driving (and in Warsaw, trust me, you want guaranteed parking). The space feels lived-in rather than sterile, if that makes sense. There’s a proper kitchen where you can actually cook, not just one of those sad hotel kitchenettes with a broken coffee maker. I ended up making breakfast most mornings because there’s a Żabka convenience store literally around the corner, plus a bigger grocery store about a 10-minute walk that has everything you need. The Wi-Fi was solid throughout my stay – I was working remotely part of the time and never had issues, even during what seemed like peak hours when everyone in the building was probably streaming something.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night, especially compared to the city center where you’ve got trams clanging and people wandering around until all hours. Here, you might hear the occasional car, but mostly it’s just… peaceful. The metro connection is genuinely good – about a 12-minute walk to Młociny station, which puts you in the heart of Warsaw in maybe 20 minutes. I actually started looking forward to that walk because you pass through this little park area, and in the morning there’s usually this older guy feeding the pigeons who nods hello once he recognizes you. Small things, but they made the whole experience feel more authentic somehow. The only minor downside I’d mention is that the shower pressure could be better – not terrible, just not great – and the walls are a bit thin, so if your neighbors are having a loud phone conversation, you’ll probably hear some of it. But honestly, for the price point and the genuine neighborhood feel, those are pretty minor complaints. This place works especially well if you’re staying more than just a couple nights and want to actually settle in somewhere rather than just crash between tourist activities.

Hotel in Warsaw booking should be done early, especially during major cultural festivals when the city hosts internationally significant music and arts events.

Wonderful

The location is great, you are close to the metro line M1 and the trams. Nearby is a supermarket, and everything is protected with a guard and a code entrance, so you really feel safe. It was clean and for a short stay there was nothing else that we needed.

What could be improved: Even though the apartment was clean, some of the dishes (pots and pans) were greasy, but we weren't using them anyway.

decent, but could be better, overall worth it for the price

Location was perfect, everything was near

What could be improved: lack of cutting board, needs a new pan, noisy environment

Wonderful

Great price to quality value. Closed territory, very quite inside the apartment . Nice surroundings. Small shop downstairs, huge gallary 20 min walk away. Clean underground parking. Very useful video instructions

What could be improved: The smallest pillows I ever seen. Totally awful.
And one more thing. Towels. It was clean, not a question. But looks more to the yellow than white, strange
