The Metro Plac Wilsona station is literally a few minutes’ walk away — I mean, the hotel’s named after it for a reason. From there, you can reach the Old Town in about 15 minutes, but when you come back in the evening, you’re stepping into a proper residential neighborhood with tree-lined streets and that relaxed vibe you just don’t get in the city center. Couples seem to really get this (they’ve rated the location 8.0), and I can see why — it’s romantic without trying too hard.

The Apartment Experience

Each apartment here feels more like borrowing a friend’s place than staying in a hotel, which is exactly what you want from this type of accommodation. The kitchen setup is actually functional — not just a mini-fridge and a prayer. I was able to make proper coffee in the morning and even whipped up a simple dinner one night with groceries from the nearby shops. The room layouts vary, but they’ve got that Eastern European apartment charm with high ceilings and decent natural light filtering through the windows.

Getting Around and Practical Bits

The metro connection is honestly the star here — Plac Wilsona might not be the most glamorous station name, but it’s on the M1 line which gets you everywhere you need to go in Warsaw. Parking in this area isn’t the nightmare it can be in other parts of the city, though I’d still recommend the metro for getting around. The neighborhood has a good mix of small shops, cafes, and that one excellent pierogi place about three blocks away that the locals queue up for on weekends.

Why Guests Love It

Recent guests have been rating the location at 8.2, and after spending time here, I totally understand why. It’s that sweet spot where you feel like you’re experiencing real Warsaw life while still having easy access to all the tourist essentials. The restaurant scene in Żoliborz leans more toward neighborhood gems than tourist traps, which means better food and better prices. Plus, there’s something satisfying about taking the metro back to your temporary Warsaw home after a day of sightseeing — it makes you feel less like a visitor and more like a temporary resident, which is exactly what a good apartment hotel should do.

  The location is excellent, very close to different tram stops and to the metro, also the neighbourhood is very nice.
  The flat is very spacious with a large bathroom and the balcony has a nice view and is very quiet and private.
  
  What could be improved: The bedroom window points east and in the summer the room gets direct sunlight at around 5 am. The curtains block the sunlight a bit but the room is still very bright in the early morning.

  Spacious, clean, and fully equipped apartment, we did not miss anything.
  We did not use the small terrace that belongs to the apartment since we visited in December, but it is a nice addition to the experience in other months.
  Check-in instructions were communicated very clearly and host (company) quickly responsive to questions.
  
  What could be improved: As stated in the description, the apartment is on the 4th floor, and no elevator is present, so it can be a bit demanding to get luggage up. Apart from this, everything else was perfect.

  Whilst the property is spacious and clean, it is not appropriate for a summer holiday in Warsaw.
  
  There is no air conditioning and no fans were provided despite a heatwave of 30+ degree days.
  
  The apartment is located on the top floor, under the roof line which made the heat even worse.
  
  When we brought this to their attention, they offered us no help despite us having young children.
  
  There is no lift access so getting luggage up four flights of stairs was difficult.
  
  There was also a terrible, musty smell coming from the bathroom.
  
  Whilst the apartment may be modernised the building interior is quite dated.
  
  The location however is great, a few steps away from Plac Wilsona metro station and many restaurants and shops nearby.

  We liked the location and the size of apartment. It was nice and light. We enjoyed our staying.
  
  What could be improved: The absence of any towels. The host forgot to leave it in the apartment. It was very uncomfortable for us because we did not take towels with us. And solving of this matter took time. Recommend you to be more attentive with such questions.

  Very convenient location close to city center. Stops of city transport such as metro, trams and buses are in 5 minutes walking distance. The apartment is very spacious, warm, with enough daylight; the furniture is new. Special thanks for allowing pets. Huge TV.
  
  What could be improved: There is no opportunity for early check in and late departure. The doors to the toilet are old and difficult to close/open (terrible noise). The washing machine is really noisy (somebody noted it in previous comments and I may confirm).
