You know what? I was honestly skeptical when I first saw the name “Metro Ratusz Arsenał Homely Apartment” – it’s quite a mouthful, isn’t it? But this place on Nowolipie really surprised me. The location is actually fantastic if you want to be right in the thick of things without dealing with the tourist chaos around the Old Town. I mean, you’re literally a five-minute walk from the Warsaw Uprising Museum, and there’s this great little pierogi spot called Zapiecek just around the corner that locals actually go to (not just the touristy one on the main square). The apartment itself feels like staying at a friend’s place who has really good taste – comfortable without being fancy, clean without feeling sterile. The kitchen is properly equipped too, which matters when you want to grab some fresh bread from the bakery on Freta Street and actually make yourself breakfast.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night, even though you’re so central. The building has that solid, old Warsaw construction that blocks out most street noise, and honestly, the bed was way more comfortable than I expected from photos. The check-in process was smooth – they actually met me at the apartment instead of making me trek to some office across town, which was a relief after that long flight. Parking can be a bit tricky in this area (it’s mostly street parking with meters), but there’s a decent-sized Żabka convenience store right downstairs, and the tram stop on Bonifraterska is maybe a three-minute walk if you want to hop over to Praga or head out to Wilanów. The apartment gets great morning light, and there’s something really nice about having coffee while watching the neighborhood wake up – you’ll see people heading to work, kids going to school, just normal Warsaw life happening below.

I’ll be honest, the bathroom is a bit compact, and the wifi occasionally got spotty during evening hours when everyone in the building was probably streaming something. But those are minor things when you consider the overall experience. The 9.2 rating makes sense to me – it’s not trying to be a luxury hotel, but it delivers exactly what it promises. The area has that authentic Warsaw vibe where you can walk to Krasinski Garden for a morning jog, grab dinner at one of the wine bars on Miodowa, or just wander through the streets that somehow survived the war. Plus, if you’re into history, being this close to the ghetto memorial sites adds a layer of significance to your stay. I’d definitely book this place again, especially for a longer visit when you want to feel like you’re actually living in Warsaw rather than just passing through.

  Доброго дня! У Варшаві зупиняємось не перший раз. В цілому все сподобалось. Чистота і порядок. Але ми бронювали одні апараменти, нас попередили за тиждень, що в тих апартаментах щось зламалось, і не можуть нас туди заселити. Запропонували на вибір три варіанти, без зміни вартості. Ми обрали перший варіант. Нам його підтвердили. Але за два дні до приїзду сказали що він зайнятий, і вибирайте з двох останніх. Це було не зрозуміло, не зручно, і ми витрачали у відрядженні свій час на обрання апартаментів. то один то інших.
