The thing about this place is that it gets the basics incredibly right without trying to be something it’s not. I mean, the studio setup is smart – everything you need is there, but it doesn’t feel cramped or like they just shoved a kitchenette into a regular hotel room as an afterthought. The bed was actually comfortable (and I’m picky about mattresses), and the shower had proper water pressure, which honestly can make or break a stay for me. What really caught my attention was how quiet it stayed at night – you’d think being called “Metro” something it might be right on a busy street, but I slept really well without any traffic noise filtering in.

The staff here seem to genuinely care about what they’re doing, which you can tell from little things like how they explain the area when you check in, or the way the place is maintained. It’s clean without that overpowering chemical smell some hotels have, and the common areas feel lived-in rather than sterile. I appreciated that they don’t overdo it with fancy touches that just drive up the price – instead they focus on making sure the Wi-Fi actually works, the air conditioning isn’t loud, and you can easily figure out how to work the shower (you’d be amazed how often that’s an issue). The kitchenette setup is particularly well thought out if you’re staying more than just a night or two – there’s actually counter space to prep food, not just a mini-fridge shoved in a corner.

What struck me most was that this feels like a place run by people who’ve actually stayed in hotels themselves and know what’s annoying versus what actually matters. That 9.5 rating starts to make sense when you realize they’ve just eliminated most of the small frustrations that usually pile up during a hotel stay. It’s not luxurious, and it doesn’t pretend to be, but it’s the kind of place where you settle in quickly and don’t spend your time wishing you’d booked somewhere else.
