I’ll be honest – when I first heard about Metro Wilanowska Aparts, I wasn’t sure what to expect from a 4-star place tucked away on Wita Stwosza street. But you know what? This spot actually surprised me in the best way. The location is pretty brilliant if you ask me – you’re in Mokotów, which means you get that authentic Warsaw neighborhood vibe without being stuck in the touristy center. There’s something really satisfying about walking down these tree-lined streets in the morning, grabbing coffee from one of those small local cafés (there’s this great one about two blocks down that the hotel staff recommended), and actually feeling like you’re living in Warsaw rather than just visiting it. The metro connection is genuinely useful too – I mean, the name gives it away, but you can hop on and be in the Old Town in maybe 15 minutes, which beats dealing with taxi traffic any day.

The apartments themselves have this modern, clean aesthetic that doesn’t try too hard to be fancy – think IKEA meets boutique hotel, but in a good way. My unit had these huge windows that let in tons of natural light, and honestly, the kitchen setup was way more functional than I expected. I actually cooked breakfast a couple times, which I never do when traveling, but the grocery store around the corner made it too tempting. The beds are properly comfortable (not those rock-hard European mattresses you sometimes get), and the Wi-Fi actually works throughout the entire space, even in the bathroom – not that you need to know that, but these things matter when you’re trying to video call family back home. One small thing though – the walls aren’t super thick, so if you’re a light sleeper and there’s a group next door, you might hear some conversation. Nothing terrible, just worth mentioning.

What really sold me on this place was how the staff genuinely seemed to know the neighborhood. When I asked about dinner recommendations, they didn’t just hand me a tourist brochure – they told me about this incredible pierogi place that’s literally a 10-minute walk away, hidden in what looks like someone’s basement but serves the best comfort food I had in Warsaw. The check-in process was refreshingly straightforward too, no unnecessary upselling or lengthy presentations about amenities I’ll never use. Parking can be a bit tricky if you’re driving (street parking mostly, and you know how that goes in any major city), but honestly, with the metro access, you probably won’t need a car anyway. The 7.8 rating feels about right – it’s not going to blow your mind with luxury, but it delivers exactly what it promises: a comfortable, well-located base for exploring Warsaw that feels more like a temporary apartment than a sterile hotel room.

  This is a very well positioned apartment, close to the metro and a big plus is the Biedronka supermarket on the ground floor. The apartment is very spacious with a large patio. Despite the negative comments we had a great stay and we would return if we came to Warsaw again. It was very good value for money.
  
  What could be improved: The patio was dirty when we arrived and the apartment needed some maintenance like replacing faulty light bulbs and the slats on the bed were faulty. The shower door leaked badly and there was no bath mat. A roll of paper towel in the kitchen would have been nice as would some dishwashing liquid, which was empty. Sufficient toilet paper for our stay would also have been good.

  Very spacious, modern, room with good kitchen and comfy beds. Absolutely awesome bathroom, I would have made such bathroom in my own flat.

  What could be improved: I asked three times for a garage. Staff told to checke for one. No answer about result. When I complained they replied that they get so many request that they do not answer some requests at all. That’s not customer friendly. I had to park my care somewhere else.

  The apartment is located close to the metro station Wilanowska, so it takes app 15-20 min to reach the center of the city. It’s well equipped, has all necessary utensils. Plus, area and the building itself are very quiet & safe.
  
  What could be improved: Very strong smell of cleaning chemicals. No sugar in the cupboard, no bottle opener.

  It was near the metro station, not far from Centre, metro cheap.New apartment, well thought out, now i left some things there by mistake, and have not heard anything, i propose to stay there next week again, and would like my stuff left in that apartment.

  The address was changed, however have left money, and smart phone at property, and received no info from them that it was left in a draw, can you contact them , as i can not, and will try to book apartment again, and collect it then about 5th of september, this is very important.
