It’s on Przyokopowa, which is this quiet residential street in Wola that most tourists never see, and honestly, that’s kind of perfect. The Warsaw Rising Museum is literally a five-minute walk away (I timed it), and if you’re into history – I mean, who isn’t when you’re in Warsaw – you’ll end up there anyway. The apartment itself feels like staying at a friend’s place, assuming your friend has decent taste and actually remembered to stock toilet paper. The AC works properly, which sounds basic but trust me, during those sticky July weeks when Warsaw turns into a sauna, you’ll be grateful. Parking is included, and in a city where finding a spot can feel like winning the lottery, that’s huge. I actually watched some poor guy circle the block for twenty minutes looking for street parking while I was comfortably unloading my bags.

The Wola district has this interesting vibe – it’s not touristy at all, but it’s not boring either. There’s this great little café called Kawiarnia Nowe Miasto about three blocks down that serves proper Polish breakfast, and the locals there will actually chat with you if you make an effort. The apartment sits in one of those classic Warsaw buildings that survived everything history threw at it, so the walls are thick (translation: your neighbors won’t hear your terrible singing in the shower). Metro access is decent – Rondo ONZ station is maybe a twelve-minute walk, which isn’t exactly “next to” but it’s not a trek either. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night. Warsaw can be surprisingly noisy, especially around the center, but Przyokopowa settles down after dinner time. The only sounds you’ll hear are the occasional tram in the distance and maybe someone’s dog barking – it’s actually kind of soothing. The check-in process was refreshingly straightforward too, none of that awkward waiting around in a lobby wondering if you’re supposed to tip someone. The place rates 8 out of 10, and honestly, that feels about right – it’s not luxury, but it’s comfortable and real, and sometimes that’s exactly what you want when you’re trying to actually experience a city instead of just Instagram-ing your way through it.

  Rewelacyjna lokalizacja, zaraz obok Muzeum Powstania Warszawskiego, blisko metro, tramwaje i autobusy. Nowoczesny blok, ładne mieszkanie, w pełni wyposażone: garnki, patelnie, naczynia, sztućce, zmywarka, mikrofalówka, toster. Przyjemny taras z widokiem na wieżowce. Jest klimatyzacja. Zaraz obok klatki jest Żabka.
  Jest dostępny darmowy parking, ale nie korzystałem, bo było miejsce na ulicy pod blokiem.
  
  What could be improved: Zgodnie z przesłaną informacją mieszkanie miało być dostępne od 15. Byliśmy o 15.30 i się okazało, że jest niepostrzątane. Dodzwonić się nie można było. Napisałem wiadomość przez Booking, nie wiem, czy ktoś ją odczytał, czy nie, ale po około 20 minutach przyszły dwie panie i posprzątały. Przeprosiły, powiedziały, że się nie wyrobiły. Generalnie po tym, jak panie posprzątały, nie miałem uwag do czystości – dałem 8 punktów w ocenie za opóźnienie. Jak komuś pasuje, to lepiej przyjeżdżać później, wtedy zdążą posprzątać.
  Korzystając z parkingu trzeba wiedzieć, że karta parkingowa jest w mieszkaniu, więc najpierw trzeba gdzieś zaparkować, żeby wejść do mieszkania po kartę. Ja jak już znalazłem miejsce na ulicy, to już z parkingu nie korzystałem.
