You know what caught me off guard about the Millennium Awangarda Green? The name makes it sound like some corporate conference center, but this 3-star place actually has character – something that’s honestly pretty rare these days. When I first walked into the lobby, I was expecting standard hotel beige everywhere, but there’s this subtle green theme throughout that actually works (I mean, it’s right there in the name, but still).

The thing that really struck me was how quiet it is. I’ve stayed in plenty of 3-star hotels where you’re hearing every conversation in the hallway and the ice machine running all night, but somehow this place manages to keep things peaceful. Maybe it’s the way the rooms are laid out, or maybe I just got lucky with my neighbors, but I actually slept through the night without earplugs for once. The staff at check-in were genuinely helpful too – not that overly cheerful “have a blessed day” kind of thing, just normal people who seemed to know what they were doing. Check-in took maybe five minutes, which honestly made my day after dealing with airport delays.

What really sells this place for me is that it punches way above its weight class. I mean, we’re talking about a 3-star hotel with a 9.5 rating – that doesn’t happen by accident. The rooms aren’t huge or anything, but they’re thoughtfully designed. Good lighting by the desk (whoever picked those lamps actually considered that people might want to read), decent water pressure in the shower, and – this is the kind of detail that matters – the curtains actually block out light when you close them. The Wi-Fi worked consistently, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how many places mess that up. There’s this little seating area near the windows that’s perfect for morning coffee, assuming you’re the type who likes to ease into the day rather than rushing straight out. I noticed they keep the common areas really clean without that overwhelming chemical smell some hotels have. Honestly, staying here felt more like crashing at a well-organized friend’s place than dealing with typical hotel sterility – if that makes sense. It’s the kind of spot where you might actually book the same room next time instead of just picking whatever’s cheapest.

  Spacious apartment with all neccessary equipment, a bath tube, terrace, comfortable bed. It is in a quiet neighbourhood so there is no noise from the street. Not so far from city centre.
