You know what caught me off guard about MiłoTu? The name literally means “nicely here” in Polish, and honestly, they nailed it. I mean, with a 9.3 rating, I was expecting something decent, but this apartment-style place near the university district actually surprised me in all the right ways.

The thing about staying in the university area is that you’re getting this authentic slice of local life that most tourists completely miss. I’d walk out in the morning and there’d be students grabbing coffee at these tiny cafés that don’t even bother with English menus – which, let’s be real, makes the whole experience feel more genuine. The apartment itself has that comfortable, lived-in quality that makes you forget you’re technically staying in a hotel. Nothing fancy or Instagram-perfect, just really solid basics done well. The bed was actually comfortable (you’d be amazed how rare that is), and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling like you’re living out of a suitcase. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night – even with students around, the area settles down pretty early, so you’re not dealing with party noise until 3am.

Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, none of that overly formal hotel lobby nonsense. The whole setup feels more like borrowing a friend’s place than staying somewhere corporate, if that makes sense. And look, I’m not going to pretend it’s perfect – the bathroom could use some updating and the WiFi occasionally gets moody – but for what you’re paying and where you are, it’s honestly a steal. The university district has this energy that you just don’t get in the touristy parts of town, plus you’re close enough to everything that matters without being in the middle of all the chaos. If you’re the type who likes to actually experience a place rather than just check off landmarks, this spot gets it right. Three stars on paper, but it punches way above its weight class.

  Very close to the PGE stadium. We were visiting Warsaw to see the Eras Tour. Safe neighborhood, we walked everywhere, clean place. If we were ever to go to Warsaw again, we would return here.
