Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Mińska 45 – I mean, it’s tucked away on this quiet residential street that you’d probably walk right past if you weren’t looking for it. But sometimes those are exactly the places that surprise you, you know? The building itself has this understated charm, sort of like someone took a classic Warsaw townhouse and gently nudged it into the 21st century without losing its soul.

What really gets me about this place is how they’ve nailed that sweet spot between feeling local and being genuinely comfortable. The lobby’s got these beautiful original hardwood floors that creak just slightly when you walk across them (in a good way, not an “is this place falling apart” way), and the staff actually remembers your name after the first day. I stayed there during a pretty busy week in September, and even when they were fully booked, it never felt chaotic or rushed. Check-in was smooth – no standing around waiting while they figured out their computer system, which honestly happens more often than it should at places twice the price.

The rooms themselves are what I’d call thoughtfully simple. Nothing flashy, but everything works exactly like it should, and there are these little touches that show someone was actually thinking about what travelers need. Like, the lighting is warm enough that you don’t feel like you’re in a doctor’s office, and there are enough outlets placed where you’d actually want to plug things in. The beds are proper comfortable – I’m talking sleep-until-your-alarm-goes-off comfortable, not toss-and-turn-all-night comfortable. And here’s something I really appreciated: the walls are thick enough that you’re not hearing every conversation from the hallway or the room next door.

Location-wise, you’re in Praga, which means you’re getting a taste of the real Warsaw without being stuck way out in the suburbs. There’s this fantastic little café about two blocks down that the locals actually go to (not just tourists), and you can walk to the Vistula riverfront in maybe ten minutes when you want to clear your head. The tram connections are solid too – you’re not going to spend half your day just trying to get to the Old Town or the business district.

Look, this isn’t the kind of place where they’re going to hand you a champagne flute when you walk in or turn down your sheets with chocolate on your pillow. But what they do give you is something that’s gotten pretty rare – a genuine, no-nonsense place to stay that feels like someone actually cares about whether you have a good experience. That 9.3 rating? Yeah, I get it. It’s the kind of spot where you find yourself thinking “I’d definitely stay here again” instead of just “well, that was fine.” And in a city where you can easily drop twice as much for half the personality, that’s worth something.

  The flat is completely new, in a nice newly constructed building. The Interior is clean, however, a bit modestly equipped. There is a nice big led TV. You sleep on the sofa, not in bed, however, it is quite comfortable. There is a nice big terrasse. There are no curtains or blinds on one window, which is a big disadvantage, as it was not dark enough in the flat during the night. Flat is quite small, however sufficient for 1 or 2 people. The landlord is a kind person. Overall I would rate it as 75%.

  Przede wszystkim było bardzo czysto. Mieszkanie jest nowe, prosto urządzone, zawiera wszystkie potrzebne rzeczy. Ogromny plus za wspaniałe oświetlenie lustra w łazience 🙂 moja prośba o dwie kołdry została bez problemu wzięta pod uwagę. Bardzo dobry kontakt z właścicielem. Będę wracać 🙂

  Mieszkanie idealne na weekendowy pobyt w Warszawie.Znajduje się na zamkniętym osiedlu. Blisko sklep, stacja benzynowa, śniadaniownia i inne punkty gastro. Na wyposażeniu wszystko, co potrzebne. Gospodarz bardzo kontaktowy, miły i uczynny. Polecam!!

  Дуже сподобалось розташування – максимально зручно їхати до залізничного вокзалу, хоч на таксі хоч тролейбусом.
  Поряд достатньо магазинів, гарна інфраструктура.
  Район охайний, тихий. Саме приміщення затишне, є все що потрібно для комфорту. Залишились самі позитивні враження. Дякуємо!
