Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect from the Movo Selected Old Town Apartment when I first walked up to Jana Kilińskiego 1A – the building looks pretty standard from the outside, you know? But once you get inside, it’s actually a really solid choice if you want to be right in the thick of things in Śródmieście without paying those crazy Old Town hotel prices. The apartment itself feels more like staying at a friend’s place than some sterile hotel room, which I mean, some people might not love, but I found it refreshing. The kitchen actually has everything you need if you want to grab groceries from the Żabka down the street (there’s literally one on every corner here), and the living space is way more generous than what you’d get in a traditional hotel for the same price. What really surprised me was how quiet it stays at night – I was worried about street noise since you’re so central, but the windows do a decent job blocking out the trams and late-night foot traffic.

The location is honestly the main selling point here, and I don’t just mean “convenient location” – I mean you can walk to the Royal Castle in about eight minutes, hit up the bars on Nowy Świat without needing an Uber, and there’s this little pierogi place called Zapiecek just around the corner that locals actually go to (not just tourists). You’re also super close to the Vistula if you want to do that riverside walk thing, which is actually pretty nice in the evenings when it’s not freezing. The building sits right between the tourist chaos and the more residential parts of the district, so you get the best of both worlds – easy access to everything but you’re not constantly dodging tour groups when you’re trying to get home. Parking can be a bit of a nightmare around here (welcome to Warsaw city center), but there’s a paid lot about two blocks away if you’re driving, though honestly the public transport connections are so good you probably don’t need a car anyway.

What really sets this place apart is the attention to detail – and that 9.9 rating isn’t just for show. The check-in process was smooth, the WiFi actually works well enough for video calls (tested it multiple times), and they’ve clearly thought about what travelers actually need rather than just throwing in random “amenities.” The shower has proper water pressure, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how many places mess this up. I also appreciated that they provide decent coffee and tea – not that instant stuff that tastes like cardboard. Sure, it’s technically a 3-star place, but it punches way above its weight in terms of comfort and functionality. The only minor thing I’d mention is that the elevator is pretty small, so if you’re traveling with massive suitcases, you might need to make two trips. But honestly, for the price point and location, this place delivers exactly what it promises without any of the pretentious nonsense you sometimes get in this part of the city.

  Piękny, nowy apartament przy samym rynku. Cisza i spokój mimo lokalizacji. Wygodne łóżka i poduszki. Świetnie wyposażony, wszystko co potrzebne na krótki wypad. Plus za suszarke do włosów oraz żelazko. Dopieszczony każdy element od zapachu i żelu do kąpieli najlepszych firm w łazience po nawet ściereczke do naczyń w kuchni, płyn do naczyń i gąbkę oraz woda do picia w butelce 🙂 zachwyciła nas nawet żywa roślinka, która jest raczej rzadkością. Mogłabym wymieniać dalej, ale braknie czasu. Rewelacja! Miły był telefon od Pani, która zajmuje sie apartamentami z zapytaniem czy wszystko w porządku po zameldowaniu. Jesteśmy zachwyceni! Oby tak dalej 🙂

  Apartament na samym Starym Mieście bardzo ekskluzywny. Widać że dopracowany w każdym szczególe. Wykonczony w wysokim standardzie.Pachnący nowością. Było w nim wszystko pralka, zmywarka, ekspres do kawy, caly kuchenny asortyment.
  Nie brakowało nam niczego.
  Właściciel bardzo przyjazny i pomocny odpowiedział na każde prośbę.
  Wszystko mieliśmy pod nosem parking, restauracje i wszystkie zabytki.
  Jesteśmy bardzo zadowoleni i na pewno polecamy!
