Overview
You know what? I wasn’t expecting much from the Moxy Warsaw City when I first walked up to it on Towarowa Street – honestly, the area looks pretty industrial at first glance. But this place actually surprised me in the best way. It’s right in the heart of Wola district, which I’ll admit isn’t the most charming part of Warsaw, but here’s the thing – you’re literally a 10-minute walk from the central train station and maybe 15 minutes to the Old Town if you don’t mind a stroll. The hotel itself has this really cool, modern vibe that feels more like a boutique place than your typical 3-star spot. The lobby’s got this funky, almost Brooklyn-warehouse feel with exposed concrete and pops of bright color everywhere. Check-in was smooth as butter – the staff actually seemed genuinely happy to be there, which you don’t always get.
The rooms are compact but clever, I mean really clever. Everything has a purpose and nothing feels cramped, even though you’re definitely not getting a sprawling suite here. The bed was surprisingly comfortable (I’m picky about mattresses), and the shower – well, let’s just say the water pressure would wake you up better than coffee. What I really appreciated was how quiet it was at night, considering you’re on a fairly busy street. The windows must be decent quality because I barely heard the trams rumbling by. Speaking of trams, there’s a stop practically outside your door that’ll take you anywhere in the city for basically nothing. The neighborhood itself is sort of in transition – you’ve got some trendy cafes popping up mixed with old communist-era buildings, which honestly gives it character.
Here’s something most reviews won’t tell you: the breakfast is actually worth getting up for. Not fancy, but fresh and way better than the usual hotel continental spread. Plus, if you’re into craft beer (and let’s be honest, you’re in Poland, so you should be), there’s this great little brewery called Browar Warszawa just a few blocks away that locals actually go to. The hotel bar downstairs isn’t bad either – they make a mean Old Fashioned if that’s your thing. Parking can be a bit of a headache in this area, but the hotel has a garage, though it’ll cost you extra. One tiny complaint: the air conditioning in summer works overtime and can get a bit loud, but honestly, after walking around Warsaw in July heat, you’ll be grateful for it. For the price point and that 8.9 rating, this place delivers. It’s not trying to be something it’s not – just a solid, stylish spot that gets the job done while actually being fun to stay at.

Quality hotel and great service
Great location with a good sized restaurant and bar ,sockets and WiFi for those late night updates ...staff were amazing
Nice hotel, but a bit too far from the main streets
Clean and cosy room, modern interior with chill lounge. Underground parking was a beneficial (needed to pay for it).
What could be improved: A bit too far from the city center. We wanted to play foosball but there was no ball and staff were not able to get a new one. Parking for 100 zl per night looked to expensive while around it's possible to get it cheaper.
It was good experience
Neat and clean and big rooms
What could be improved: Breakfast
Exceptional
I really liked the hotel — great location, clean room, friendly staff.
What could be improved: All good - no problem at all
Perfect
The staff was friendly, and the rooms were clean. The building’s interior has a classy vibe. I think it's a great place for young people, especially couples (you’d understand if you visited). They have a gym and relaxation zones. Overall, it was a great stay.
