Look, I’ll be straight with you about Murano Apartaments City Center Duo – it’s one of those places that gets the basics really right without trying to be something it’s not. The location on Solidarności is honestly pretty brilliant if you know Warsaw at all. You’re basically in the heart of Śródmieście, which means you can walk to most of the stuff you actually want to see, but you’re not stuck in the tourist chaos around the Old Town. I mean, you’re close enough to catch the metro at Ratusz Arsenał in about five minutes, and there’s this great little milk bar (bar mleczny) just around the corner that serves proper pierogi for like three euros – the kind of place where locals actually eat, you know?

The apartments themselves are pretty solid for a three-star setup. Nothing fancy, but everything works, which honestly can’t be said for every place in this price range in Warsaw. The kitchenettes are actually functional – I’m talking real plates, not plastic tourist stuff – and the wifi doesn’t cut out every ten minutes like some places I’ve stayed. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night, even though you’re on a fairly busy street. The windows are decent quality, so you don’t get that constant traffic hum that can drive you crazy. Check-in was surprisingly smooth too – none of that awkward waiting around in a tiny lobby situation. The staff speaks solid English, which… well, let’s just say that’s not always a given in Warsaw, even now.

Here’s the thing though – and this is important – parking can be a bit of a nightmare if you’re driving. The street parking fills up fast, especially during the week when all the office workers are around. But honestly, if you’re staying here, you probably don’t need a car anyway. You’ve got trams running constantly, and most of the good restaurants and bars in Powiśle are just a pleasant walk across the bridge. The area really comes alive in the evening, especially in summer when people spill out of the restaurants onto the sidewalks. There’s something about the light hitting those old communist-era buildings mixed with the newer developments that’s actually quite beautiful, in a gritty urban way. The 8.1 rating makes sense to me – it’s not going to blow your mind, but you’ll sleep well, the shower has proper pressure, and you’re perfectly positioned to actually experience Warsaw like someone who lives here rather than just checking tourist boxes. Plus, and this might sound weird, but the building has this lived-in feeling that a lot of the flashier hotels lack. It feels like a real neighborhood, because it is one.

  What could be improved: The flat is up a flight of stairs that has no elevator.

  Very conveniently located just 1 stop from Stare Miasto. Host was great and stayed in contact throughout our stay in case we needed help, we were even informed of a special light show that happened during our stay. Host even brought us shampoo when we asked where we could buy some.

  The location is very good, easy to access taxi/uber.
  It is bit difficult to enter the building compound. More over lift facility is only upto sixth floor and this room is located on seventh floor.Hence it's embarrassing if you have luggage to carry with. Overall nice experience!

  Convenient location, close to the centre, the apartment has everything you need. We were with a dog, we did not have to pay anything extra. The keys were received remotely, parking in the yard is very convenient for us since we are by car. Everything is fine.

  Amazing location in the city center. Very nice owner, who helped us a lot. Free private parking in the yard which is not easy to find in this area. Nice and clean interior.
  
  What could be improved: It's very noisy inside, you hear all the cars the whole night. If you close the windows it's too hot, especially it's the highest floor. Also the elevator goes only to the 7th floor and you have to walk one more.
