Hotel Description

You know what? I’ve stayed at a lot of places in Warsaw over the years, and My Beloved Warsaw Centrum really surprised me – in the best way possible. The name’s a bit cheesy, I’ll give you that, but honestly, after spending a few nights there, I kind of get it. It’s right on Marszałkowska, which means you’re basically in the thick of everything without the tourist trap feel. I mean, you can walk to the Palace of Culture in like ten minutes (though why you’d want to is another story), but more importantly, you’re surrounded by actual Warsaw life. There’s this fantastic milk bar – Bar Mleczny Prasowy – just around the corner where locals still grab cheap pierogi, and the whole Śródmieście district has this energy that’s hard to describe. The hotel itself sits in one of those classic Warsaw buildings, and while the entrance is a bit understated (you might walk past it the first time), once you’re inside, it feels surprisingly modern and thoughtful.

The rooms are what really won me over though. They’ve managed to do that thing where everything feels contemporary without being sterile – you know those places that look great in photos but feel like a doctor’s office? This isn’t that. The beds are actually comfortable (I’m picky about this), and the soundproofing is better than you’d expect for being on such a busy street. Marszałkowska can get pretty lively, especially on weekends when people are heading to and from the bars in Nowy Świat, but I slept fine. The staff genuinely seems to care about what they’re doing too, which you don’t always get at four-star places. When I had trouble with the shower handle – nothing major, just one of those European quirks – they fixed it within an hour and threw in some local chocolates as an apology.

What I really appreciated was how the place feels connected to the city rather than isolated from it. You’re not stuck in some hotel bubble where everything’s overpriced and generic. Step outside and you’ve got trams running every few minutes, proper Polish restaurants (not the tourist versions), and you can actually see how Warsaw works as a living city. The metro station at Świętokrzyska is close enough that getting to the airport or Old Town is painless, but you’re also walking distance from places like Hala Koszyki if you want to grab dinner somewhere with a bit more atmosphere. I stayed there during both a busy conference week and a quieter weekend, and the vibe worked for both – professional enough for business travelers but relaxed enough that you don’t feel like you need to wear a suit in the lobby. The 8.7 rating makes sense to me; it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Warsaw, but it does what it does really well, and sometimes that’s exactly what you want.

The concierge service in Warsaw can arrange exclusive historical tours, secure concert tickets, and organize visits to nearby Chopin sites and Mazovian countryside.
