Hotel Description
So, “Near to the Castle” – well, they weren’t kidding about the name. I mean, you literally can’t get much closer without actually sleeping in the castle grounds. When I first walked up to this place, I was honestly a bit skeptical because the entrance is pretty understated, almost like they’re trying to keep it a secret from the tour bus crowds.
But here’s the thing – and this is why I keep recommending it to friends – once you’re inside, you realize the owners actually know what they’re doing. It’s one of those family-run spots where the front desk person remembers your name after one conversation, and they’ll casually mention that the best time to visit the castle is around 4 PM when all the day-trippers have cleared out. The rooms are what you’d expect from a solid 3-star place, nothing fancy but everything works properly (which, honestly, isn’t always a given in this part of town). The beds are surprisingly comfortable – I’m talking actually getting a good night’s sleep, not just surviving until checkout.
You know what really sold me though? The morning routine. There’s this little café literally two doors down where the locals grab their coffee before work, and the hotel staff will tell you about it instead of trying to push their own overpriced breakfast. That’s the kind of honest approach you don’t find everywhere. The street itself gets a bit lively in the evenings – nothing crazy, just people heading to the pubs nearby – but the windows are decent enough that it won’t keep you awake unless you’re an incredibly light sleeper. Parking can be tricky during peak season (I learned this the hard way in July), but there’s a small lot about a three-minute walk away that most tourists don’t know about. The hotel folks will point you toward it if you ask nicely. What really impressed me was how they handle the whole castle proximity thing – instead of jacking up prices and getting all touristy, they’ve kept things reasonable and focus on actually helping guests make the most of being right there. During my stay, the guy at the front desk mentioned which castle entrance has the shortest lines and even suggested this great little walking path that takes you around the back where you can get some incredible photos without fighting crowds. That 9.2 rating makes total sense once you experience the place – it’s not trying to be something it’s not, just doing the fundamentals really well in an absolutely perfect spot.
Exploring Warsaw offers visitors an unforgettable journey through Poland’s resilient capital, from its meticulously reconstructed Old Town to its modern skyline and rich cultural heritage.

The apartment is spacious and very cosy. Kitchen and bathroom were equiped very well. Everything was clean. And it was very warm despite the cold and frosty weather outside. Wi-Fi was good. The location is perfect for walks around the old city center and the royal castle is just in the opposite building. Small grocery shop is around the corner, and there is also a number of cafes and restaurants for any taste. Public transport stop is in a few minutes walk, you can quickly get to any other part of the city. The host was nice and helpful, I arrived late in the evening and had a question, the host immediately replied to my message and helped me.

Location couldn’t be better specially for a short stay, right in the centre of the Old Town with restaurants downstairs and cafe that serves breakfast less than a minute walk ( it’s not easy to find a place for cooked breakfast around) extra points there 🙂
Apartment very clean and tidy and super quiet which helps with a good night sleep

Kamil from Belgium (8/10)
superb location, in the middle of the old town – we loved it. It was easy to get in contact with the host (booking app), we never met them though. We even got access to the apartment before check in time, we had asked about it as we would be coming into town around midday, but they let us know when we got off the bus that the apartment was already available to us. Because it is surrounded by bars and restaurants, be aware that a little noise does travel up to your window. We did not let any sleep over it and enjoyed – from the couch – the concerts on the square while our kids were sleeping.
