Hotel Description

You know what? I was honestly a bit skeptical when I saw “New!” in the name – usually that screams tourist trap – but these Boya Apartments completely won me over. The location on Tadeusza Boya-Żeleńskiego is actually perfect if you want to be in the thick of things without dealing with the chaos of the main tourist strips. I mean, you’re literally a five-minute walk from the Palace of Culture (yeah, that massive Stalin-era building you can’t miss), but the street itself is surprisingly quiet at night. The building has this restored pre-war charm that Warsaw does so well – you’ll notice the beautiful facade details when you’re walking up, though fair warning, there’s no doorman so you’ll need to buzz yourself in.

The apartments themselves are what really impressed me. Everything feels genuinely new, not just slapped together with cheap fixtures. The kitchens are actually functional – I’m talking full-size appliances, decent counter space, the kind of setup where you could honestly cook a proper meal if you wanted to skip another pierogi dinner (though honestly, why would you?). The beds are properly comfortable, and here’s something I always check – the water pressure is excellent and the heating works without making those weird clicking sounds all night. Storage space is generous too, which matters when you’re staying more than a couple nights. I stayed during a particularly cold February and the place stayed warm without cranking the heat up to sauna levels.

What really sells this place is how it sits in the neighborhood. You’ve got Złote Tarasy shopping center about ten minutes away if you need anything, but right around the corner there’s this little milk bar that serves the most authentic Polish comfort food – locals actually eat there, not just tourists following guidebooks. The tram connections are fantastic from here; you can get to Old Town in maybe fifteen minutes, or hop over to Praga district if you want to see the grittier, more authentic side of Warsaw. Parking can be a bit tricky on the street, but there’s a garage nearby that won’t completely destroy your budget. The check-in process was smooth – they actually met me at the apartment rather than making me hunt down some random office across town. One tiny thing: the WiFi occasionally gets a bit spotty in the evenings when everyone’s streaming, but it’s reliable enough for work calls and staying connected. Honestly, with a 9.4 rating, I was expecting to find something wrong with the place, but it really does live up to the hype. It’s the kind of spot where you feel like you’re living in Warsaw rather than just visiting it.

Early hotels booking in Warsaw requires advance planning during peak cultural seasons when visitors flock to see the city’s remarkable reconstruction story and vibrant arts scene.

  • Exceptional – Weronika from Australia – October 29, 2024 (10/10)

Great central location; only a small walk to Pola Mokotowskie and Lazienki. There is a shopping mall nearby and the neighbourhood is filled with little restaurants and convenience stores. The host was very accommodating – she went above and beyond to help me out when I found myself in a tricky situation. The place itself was well equipped, very clean, and super cosy.

What could be improved: Not applicable

  • Exceptional – Joannagrze from Belgium – October 20, 2024 (10/10)

  • Fine, would use again – Ian from United Kingdom – September 21, 2024 (8/10)

    All fine

What could be improved: It was fine. A small point – the bottom sheet was more like what I would call a mattress protector. A bit like towelling. Don’t know if this was supposed to have linen on top. Conventional sheet would have been better
