Hotel Description
You know what struck me first about the Novotel Warszawa Centrum? It’s this sleek glass tower that somehow manages to feel both modern and welcoming at the same time. I mean, when you’re walking up from the street level, there’s something about the way the lobby opens up that just makes you exhale – like you’ve made it to your Warsaw basecamp.
The thing is, this place gets the balance right between business hotel efficiency and actually feeling comfortable. The rooms are what I’d call “smart modern” – clean lines, decent space to spread out your stuff, and honestly, the beds are properly firm (none of that sinking-into-quicksand nonsense you get at some chain hotels). The bathrooms are surprisingly spacious too, which matters when you’re dealing with European hotel standards. What I really appreciated was the soundproofing – Warsaw can get pretty lively, especially on weekends, but you’re not going to be kept awake by street noise or corridor conversations.
The staff here actually seem to know Warsaw beyond just the tourist checklist, which is refreshing. When I asked about getting to some of the newer districts, the front desk guy gave me proper directions and timing advice, not just “take a taxi everywhere.” The breakfast situation is solid – it’s that international hotel spread, but they do include some Polish touches that feel authentic rather than token gestures. And here’s a detail that matters more than it should: the elevators are fast and there are enough of them. Sounds silly, but when you’re running late for a morning meeting or hauling luggage, these things count.
Location-wise, you’re genuinely central without being stuck in pure tourist chaos. It’s close enough to the Old Town that you can walk it when the weather’s decent, but you’re also well-positioned for the business districts and some of the better restaurant areas that locals actually use. The whole Śródmieście area is pretty walkable, and honestly, being in a proper hotel rather than some converted apartment means you’ve got reliable wifi, room service when you need it, and someone at the front desk who can help sort things out at odd hours.
With an 8.7 rating, this place is clearly doing something right, and after staying there, I get it. It’s not trying to be boutique quirky or ultra-luxury impressive – it’s just competently handling what business and leisure travelers actually need. The kind of place where everything works as it should, the location makes sense, and you’re not paying for a bunch of amenities you’ll never use. Sometimes that’s exactly what you want from a city hotel.
Best hotels in Warsaw range from charming boutique properties in the historic Old Town to elegant modern hotels with stunning views of the Vistula River and Palace of Culture.

We enjoyed staying on the 17th Floor of this hotel as the view from our room was stunning especially during night time. The breakfast was tasty, filling and a wide variety of choices was available to suit each individual's need. The location was ideal as we were close to the train station, malls and walking distance to many places of interest including assessing the city tour buses.
