You know what? I was honestly a bit skeptical when I first booked Nowy Świat 47a – I mean, the name sounds more like an apartment rental than a hotel. But walking up to this place on one of Warsaw’s most famous streets, I actually got pretty excited. The location is just ridiculous in the best way possible – you’re literally on Nowy Świat, which is like being on Fifth Avenue but with way better pierogi nearby. I could walk to the Old Town in about fifteen minutes, and there’s this amazing milk bar called Bar Mleczny Familijny just around the corner that serves the most authentic Polish comfort food for practically nothing. The Royal Route starts right at your doorstep, so you’ll find yourself accidentally stumbling into beautiful architecture every time you step outside.

The hotel itself feels more like a really well-designed boutique spot than your typical 3-star place – honestly, that 8.8 rating makes total sense once you’re inside. The rooms are compact but thoughtfully laid out, and I appreciated that they didn’t try to cram unnecessary furniture into small spaces. Everything feels clean and modern, though you can hear the trams rumbling by occasionally (which I actually found kind of charming, but light sleepers might want to pack earplugs). The staff genuinely seems to know the neighborhood well – when I asked about getting to Łazienki Park, the front desk guy didn’t just give me directions, he told me which entrance to use and mentioned that the peacocks are most active in the early morning. Check-in was smooth, no weird hidden fees or tourist traps, and they actually had decent coffee in the lobby instead of that instant stuff you get at some places.

What really sold me on this spot was how it sits right in the heart of everything without feeling touristy or overpriced. You’re surrounded by cafes, bookshops, and those beautiful townhouses that somehow survived the war, but you’re also close enough to the business district that you don’t feel cut off from modern Warsaw. The metro station at Nowy Świat-Uniwersytet is maybe a three-minute walk, so getting around the city is effortless. I spent most evenings just wandering the neighborhood – there’s something magical about this street when the sun starts setting and all the outdoor seating fills up with locals. Sure, parking is basically nonexistent if you’re driving (this is central Warsaw, after all), but honestly, you won’t need a car anyway. The whole experience felt like staying in a friend’s well-located apartment rather than some generic hotel chain, and sometimes that’s exactly what you want when you’re trying to actually experience a city instead of just passing through it.

  I loved the distance to the metro and to the city center. The apartment is basically on the way to old town. I loved it! The communication with the host was easy and they were helpful and amazing. I recommend staying here (but not too much cuz I need this place to be available when I come back again!). Biedronka and coffee shop, all kinds of restaurants – in 5 min walk!

  I travelled with my mom, she was abroad for the first time, so I was choosing the accommodation even more carefully than I usually do! Thie apartment was great, squeaky clean and had all the stuff ready for a comfortable stay. The location is wonderful, close to anything you can think of – sightseeing, lovely places to eat, shopping, supermarket etc. Even though the apartment is in the centre, the house is a bit tucked away from the main street, so it's not noisy. Just great!
  
  What could be improved: Just a couple of small things – like more towels (as there were 2 of us, I was hoping for more of them), hand soap in the bathroom, salt and pepper in the kitchen. And the stay would be even better 🙂

  The apartment is located in an excellent position, just at the back of Nowy Swiat street- nice building, area feels very safe and a bus drops you just 200 meters from the building. The apartment is new, everything nice and the cleaning standard is very high. The kitchen has modern utensils, cups etc. The bathroom has a very good shower. The location on the second floor means that you do not get noise from the street. Closeby, you have lots of shops and restaurants.
  
  What could be improved: The curtains are too narrow for the size of the windows and only cover the sides, so you get light through all the night and especially from early morning. I didn't sleep well for that reason. The pillows were also too soft for my taste, so I'd suggest the owners rectify these two issues. I contacted the company, but they didn't do anything about it. The bathroom missed a bin and soap and I would have liked more things in the kitchen given this is a flat (oil, cooking spices, a cloth etc.). Some biscuits on arrival would be nice too, but that's up to every owner, I guess.
