The moment I stepped out onto Nowy Świat, I realized I was basically in the heart of everything that matters in Warsaw – and honestly, that 170-meter walk to the metro station is more like a pleasant stroll past some seriously good cafés. I mean, Nowy Świat is one of those streets where locals actually hang out, not just tourists with their noses buried in guidebooks.

The apartment itself feels like staying at a friend’s place – you know, if your friend has really good taste and actually keeps their place clean. It’s got that lived-in comfort without the weird personal photos staring at you from every surface. The owner clearly gets what travelers need because there’s proper kitchen stuff (not those sad two forks and a broken can opener situations), decent Wi-Fi that doesn’t cut out every time someone in the building uses their microwave, and – this might sound small but trust me on this – really good blackout curtains. Warsaw gets bright early in summer, and if you’re dealing with jet lag, you’ll thank me for mentioning that detail.

What I love about staying here is how it drops you right into actual Warsaw life. You’re walking distance from the University of Warsaw area, which means great cheap eats and that slightly chaotic energy that comes with student neighborhoods. The tram connections are fantastic too – honestly better than the metro sometimes for getting around the city center. And look, I’ll be straight with you about the noise thing since nobody else seems to mention it: Nowy Świat can get a bit lively on weekend nights, but it’s more “people having a good time” noise than “construction starting at 6 AM” noise, if you know what I mean. Plus, those thick European walls do their job pretty well. The 9.2 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed here – it’s not trying to be some fancy hotel experience, but it nails everything that actually matters when you’re exploring a city. You’ve got your own space, you’re surrounded by real Warsaw (not some sanitized tourist bubble), and honestly, the value is pretty hard to beat for this location.

  We loved everything! Great location, lots of local buses and easy to catch direct bus to the airport, bus stop is right next to the property. Lots of cafes and shops around, shopping centres. Super comfy, soft bed. Everything was really well decorated, clean and cozy. Kitchen really well equipped. There is coffee machine. Even plates & cups are very beautiful. Washing machine comes with capsules, what is fantastic and so thoughtful. Bathroom is really new and shower is great. Hair drier, soap and towels were provided. We enjoyed our stay a lot! Would really recommend and would come there again too!

  It’s a really nice and comfortable place for 2 in a center of Warsaw. We had a short and quick commute to almost any place we needed.
  We came for a concert and the stadium was just in a 30 min lazy walk from us.
  Place is very clean, with all necessary amenities and quick responses from the hosts if needed.
