You know what? I’ve stayed at a lot of serviced apartments around Warsaw, and OCHOTA P&O on Białobrzeska really surprised me. It’s tucked away in this quiet residential part of Ochota – not the flashiest neighborhood, I’ll be honest, but that’s actually what makes it work. You’re about a 15-minute tram ride from the city center, which sounds far until you realize you’re paying way less than those tourist traps near the Old Town, and honestly? The 74 tram line runs pretty frequently. Plus there’s this little Żabka convenience store literally around the corner that saved me multiple times when I needed late-night snacks or forgot to grab coffee in the morning.

The apartments themselves feel more like someone’s actual flat than a sterile hotel room – I mean that in the best way possible. My unit had this slightly worn but comfortable couch that I actually wanted to sink into after walking around Warsaw all day, and the kitchen was properly equipped. Not just a mini-fridge and microwave situation, but actual pots and pans that didn’t look like they’d fall apart if you breathed on them. The Wi-Fi was solid (I was working remotely part of the time), and the shower had decent water pressure, which honestly can be hit or miss in older Warsaw buildings. One thing though – the walls aren’t super thick, so if you’re a light sleeper and there’s a family with kids next door, you’ll know about it. But most evenings were pretty quiet since it’s mostly residential around there.

What I really appreciated was how the staff actually seemed to know the area. When I asked about getting to Łazienki Park, the guy at reception didn’t just point me toward Google Maps – he told me which bus stop to use and mentioned that Sunday mornings are perfect for the park because it’s less crowded. The building itself is nothing fancy from the outside, sort of typical Warsaw residential architecture, but inside it’s been updated enough that you’re not dealing with ancient plumbing or sketchy electrical outlets. Parking was surprisingly easy too, which anyone who’s driven in Warsaw will tell you is basically a miracle. The whole setup just felt… practical, I guess? Like it was designed by people who actually travel and know what matters. Sure, you’re not getting marble bathrooms or a fancy lobby, but for the price point and that 8.1 rating, it delivers exactly what it promises. I’d definitely book it again, especially if I needed to stay in Warsaw for more than just a quick weekend trip.

  Nice, comfortable and clean apartment. We had enough crockery and kitchen utensils. There was soap and shampoo. Nearby were grocery stores, pharmacies, a playground.
  
  What could be improved: The location of the apartment was different from what was indicated on the website. There is no lift. We had a problem with the bedroom window closing. Cash payments are not allowed on weekends. If the bank card is not in Polish zloty, payment will be with a commission.

  We chose this apartment due to its location. We mainly needed it to spend a couple of nights there as we had a busy programme during the day. The property generally served its purpose.
  
  What could be improved: The flat wasn’t very clean (dusty) and the kitchen utensils didn’t look clean.
  When we arrived (late at night) we noticed that the bathroom handle was broken. We removed it as we didn’t want our 9 years old daughter to get stuck in the bathroom. We reported it the following day. There was no apology from the owner. They only requested photos of the damage.

  Apartamentul este mic dar a fost suficient pentru 3 persoane. Bucătăria este complet utilată, dacă vreți să vă organizați cu mâncarea. Instructiunile pentru a intra în posesia cheii au fost foarte clare. Am găsit și parcare, cu plata, pe strada, destul de aproape. Chiar langa bloc pot parca doar riveranii care au afișat un soi de permis pe parbriz. Sâmbăta și duminica parcarea este gratis. Apartamentul este situat cam la 5 minute de mers fata de statia de tramvai. De acolo, cu o schimbare, se ajunge în centru in aproximativ 30 de minute.
  
  What could be improved: Poate canapeaua din living ar trebui curațată sau schimbată. La baie, rezervorul WC-ului se umplea foarte, foarte încet așa că am fost nevoiți să-l ajutăm și cu dușul.
