I’ll be honest – when I first saw the address on Graniczna Street, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The building itself is pretty typical for this part of Śródmieście, but once you get inside apartment 405, it’s actually quite impressive. The OhMyHome folks have done a solid job creating something that feels more like staying at a well-organized friend’s place than a sterile hotel room. You know what really struck me? The attention to practical details that most places completely miss. There’s actually decent water pressure in the shower (trust me, this matters in older Warsaw buildings), and the kitchen isn’t just for show – you can genuinely cook a proper meal if you want to skip the restaurant scene for a night. The wifi is fast enough that I could video call home without any of those awkward frozen-face moments, which honestly made my partner much happier about the whole trip.

The location is where this place really shines, though you might not realize it immediately. Graniczna Street sounds kind of random until you start walking around and realize you’re basically in the sweet spot between the tourist chaos and actual Warsaw life. I mean, you’re close enough to the Old Town that you can walk there in about fifteen minutes – longer if you stop for coffee, which you definitely should because there’s this little place on Nowy Świat that locals actually go to. But here’s the thing that surprised me: evenings are pretty quiet on this street. You get the city energy during the day, then it settles down enough that you can actually sleep with the windows cracked open. Parking was easier than I expected too, especially compared to some of the horror stories I’d heard about driving in Warsaw. The building has this slightly worn charm that grows on you – it’s not Instagram-perfect, but it feels real in a way that a lot of newer places don’t.

What really bumped this up to that 8.9 rating for me was how everything just worked without drama. Check-in was smooth (they actually answered their phone when I called about arriving early), the apartment was genuinely clean, and small touches like having proper hangers in the closet and decent lighting for reading made it clear someone had actually thought about what guests need. The neighborhood has this great mix where you’ll hear Polish conversations drifting up from the street during the day, but you’re still close enough to the main action that you never feel disconnected. I stayed here in late spring, and honestly, opening the windows in the morning to let in that cool Warsaw air while making coffee in the little kitchen became my favorite part of each day. It’s not luxury in the marble-and-gold sense, but it’s comfortable in a way that made me want to extend my stay – which, let’s face it, is probably the best compliment you can give any place.

  The property was really clean, accessible and close to amenities. Two shops for groceries REALLY close by, and out door gym facility and children’s play areas. Well recommended.
