You know what surprised me about Old Town Heart X Luxury on Piekna? The name actually delivers on both promises – it really is right in the heart of everything, and honestly, it punches way above its 3-star rating. I mean, when I first walked up to the building, I wasn’t expecting much (the entrance is pretty understated), but the moment you step inside, there’s this immediate sense that someone put real thought into this place.

The location is honestly perfect if you want to experience Warsaw like locals do. You’re literally surrounded by the kind of cafés and bistros where you’ll see the same faces every morning – that’s how you know you’ve found the real neighborhood spots. The morning sounds are exactly what you’d expect from being this central: trams rumbling by, the gentle buzz of people heading to work, but it’s never overwhelming. I actually found it kind of comforting, like the city was waking up with me. What really impressed me was how they’ve managed to create this bubble of calm despite being so centrally located – the windows must be really well insulated because once you’re in your room, the city noise just becomes this gentle background hum.

The staff here gets it, you know? They’re not trying to oversell you on tours or restaurants, but when you ask for directions or recommendations, they’ll tell you about the little bakery two blocks down that opens at 6 AM or which entrance to use for the metro to avoid the crowds. These are the kinds of details that make a difference when you’re trying to navigate a new city. The 9.0 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there a few days – it’s not flashy or Instagram-perfect, but everything just… works. The wifi is solid (I was working remotely part of my stay), the shower pressure is surprisingly good, and the beds are comfortable enough that I didn’t think about them, which is honestly the best compliment I can give hotel bedding. One small thing – the elevators are a bit slow, but honestly, after a few days of walking around Warsaw, I didn’t mind the extra minute to catch my breath.

  Very good location, close to the tourist spots, many good restaurants and nice shops. The staff was responsive and helpful. Apartment was very clean and nice. Kitchen well-equipped, however some basic spices could make it better.

  The very spacious and clean apartment was great, in a good location with everything we needed literally on the doorstep (pizza restaurant, burger bar, bar & restaurant, all with outdoor seating, mini supermarket etc.). Close to the Metro, buses and trams.
