Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Old Town Home feels like discovering a secret apartment that someone’s stylish friend keeps in the heart of Warsaw‘s most coveted neighborhood. This four-star property sits right on Rynek Starego Miasta — literally the Old Town Market Square — and honestly, you can’t get more central than this. I mean, you’re basically living inside a postcard of medieval Warsaw, with the colorful townhouses and cobblestones right outside your window.
The Location Magic
Here’s what I love about staying here — you step out the door and you’re immediately in the thick of everything that makes Warsaw’s Old Town special. The Royal Castle is a two-minute walk, the Vistula River views are just beyond that, and those Instagram-worthy pastel buildings? They’re your neighbors. What really struck me is how couples seem to gravitate toward this spot (they rate the location 9.6 out of 10), and I get it — there’s something undeniably romantic about wandering these streets at night when the tourist crowds thin out.
The Space Itself
The apartment setup here is what sets Old Town Home apart from typical hotel stays. You’re not getting a cramped hotel room — instead, you have space to actually live a bit. The interiors blend modern comfort with touches that nod to the historic surroundings, though they keep things understated rather than going overboard with the medieval theme. I appreciated having a proper kitchen area because, let’s be honest, eating out for every meal in tourist-heavy Old Town can get expensive quickly.
Practical Considerations
Now, staying in the absolute center of a UNESCO World Heritage site does come with some trade-offs you should know about. Parking in Old Town is… well, it’s an adventure. The cobblestone streets weren’t exactly designed for modern cars, so you’ll want to plan accordingly if you’re driving. But here’s the thing — once you’re settled in, you really don’t need a car at all. Everything worth seeing is walkable, and the metro connections to other parts of Warsaw are solid.
Why Guests Love It
What keeps people coming back to Old Town Home is that perfect balance of location and livability. You’re staying in one of Europe’s most beautifully reconstructed historic centers (remember, this entire area was rebuilt after WWII), but you’re not sacrificing comfort for the privilege. The 8.1 guest rating reflects what I experienced — it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Warsaw, but it nails the essentials really well. When you can grab morning coffee from a local café, spend your day exploring without any commute time, and come back to a space that actually feels like home rather than just a place to sleep, that’s when you know you’ve found something good.
Many travelers prefer to book apartments in Warsaw through trusted local agencies that provide insider knowledge about the best neighborhoods for experiencing the city’s rich history and modern development.

Guest Reviews
Wonderful
Location and very nice facilities!!
What could be improved: We were uncomfortable to open the windows since we had small children and there was no screen or protection from falling out. Also the wifi was mediocre but did work
Good value for money
Right in the city centre, historical part of the City
What could be improved: Bathroom is located separately and shared with the other people :(
Friendly host and good value for money. Would stay there again.
Great communication with the host, simple access and good facilities.
What could be improved: Lack of black-out curtains on a window that is 24/7 brightly illuminated. I could improvise a fix, but it would have been great if the owner thought of that themselves.
TV did not work too well. I am guessing due to poor internet connection.
Would stay here again - loved the location and the room was very clean - happy about the stay
Location is everything — plus a nice room — beautiful view and lots of history
What could be improved: Too many complicated codes — 3 separate ones to get in your door - could make it a little easier — phone ran out of battery — so not remembering the codes was difficult— also an adapter would be nice :-)
Very nice
Perfect location
What could be improved: There was no soap in the bathroom
Very Good
The view from the window is of course amazing. And the rooms are beautifully designed and look cosy. They also left me a bottle of water in the room and some mugs and glasses. I thought these were nice touches. 🙏🏼
What could be improved: If you need to rely on good internet during your stay, this might be the issue. I had to end up using my own data. Also, I came when the ice skating rink was still there, so they play loud music until 9pm, but from 9pm it was fine and really quiet 😊 Having said that I was visiting during the work days, not the weekend. Not sure if that makes a difference 😊 Also, when someone was using a shower or perhaps there was something else that caused it, there was some sort of a pipe sound in my room, which was sometimes irritating. I think the place is great for a short stay like a night or max too, but not for longer stays 😊
Good
Location
What could be improved: Shared bathroom
excellent place to stay in old town
this is an excellent place to stay. I always stay here, in the large room, when in Warsaw. location is incredible!
Wonderful
View from the window.
Pleasant, central location to take in the sights of Warsaw
Very central location on the Old Town Square so within easy walking distance of main attractions or to get on a tram to go further afield.
All-in-one room with double bed, sofa, television, kettle and microwave if you don't want to eat out.
The hosts communicated necessary information to me and checked in everything was all right.
I would recommend some restaurants within easy walking distance: Restauracja Świętoszek Tartuffe; Gospoda Kwiaty Polskie; and Sambal Restauracja Indonezyjska
What could be improved: The en-suite was remote so I had to access it via a shared lobby which was inconvenient, particularly in the middle of the night.
