OldTown Cosy Apartment Overview

First Impressions

Tucked away on a quiet side street in Warsaw’s historic center, OldTown Cosy Apartment feels like stumbling upon a well-kept secret. The building itself has that classic pre-war charm you’d expect in Śródmieście, but what really caught my attention was how peaceful it felt despite being right in the thick of everything. You know what I mean — sometimes central locations can be overwhelming, but this place actually lives up to its “cosy” name.

Location & Neighborhood

Honestly, the location is pretty much perfect if you want to experience Warsaw on foot. I’m talking about a genuine 9.4 location score here, and after spending time there, I get why couples rate it so highly for romantic getaways. You’re literally steps from the Royal Castle and Old Town Square, but here’s the thing — you’re positioned just far enough from the main tourist drag that you won’t be dealing with crowds right outside your door. The nearby Vistula River embankment is perfect for evening walks, and I found some excellent local cafes within a two-minute stroll that most tourists never discover.

The Space

This four-star apartment strikes that sweet spot between homey comfort and polished hospitality. The space feels genuinely lived-in rather than sterile — I mean that in the best possible way. There’s a proper kitchen setup that’s actually functional (not just for show), which came in handy when I picked up fresh bread and local cheese from the nearby market. The room layout flows naturally, and you’ll appreciate the thoughtful touches like quality linens and decent lighting for reading. It’s clear someone who understands travel put thought into the details.

Practical Perks

Here’s something that’ll save you headaches — they’ve got parking available on-site, which is honestly a godsend in this part of Warsaw. Anyone who’s tried to navigate Old Town by car knows what a relief that is. The building’s entrance is discreet but well-marked, and check-in was refreshingly straightforward. I also noticed the Wi-Fi actually works properly throughout the space (you’d be surprised how often that’s not the case), and the water pressure in the shower is solid.

Why Guests Love It

What really sets this place apart is how it manages to feel both central and residential at the same time. You’re not staying in some anonymous hotel corridor — you’re experiencing Warsaw more like a temporary local. The combination of that unbeatable location score with genuine comfort creates something special. Plus, there’s something satisfying about having your own space to retreat to after a day of exploring, especially when that space happens to be in the heart of one of Europe’s most fascinating capitals. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to extend your stay, which honestly is the best compliment I can give any accommodation.

Reviews of OldTown Cosy Apartment

  • Very Good – Jolanta from Latvia – July 7, 2025 (8/10)

Super nice apartment! The location was perfect and we honestly liked everything about it. The kitchen had everything we needed, check-in was super easy with clear instructions, and there was street parking nearby. Would definitely stay again!

  • Exceptional – Juozas from Lithuania – August 13, 2024 (10/10)

Exceptional location and very cosy apartment

What could be improved: Trams were a bit too loud into the night and very early morning, but for tight sleepers nit a problem

  • Perfect place near old town – Viktorija from Lithuania – May 9, 2024 (10/10)

Clean, very well located and just perfect. We stayed for 2 nights – kitchen is good, we slept tight.

What could be improved: We liked it all. Keep in mind that apartment is near busy street so open windows during night might not good for light sleepers 🙂

  • Perfect! – Katarzyna from United Kingdom – April 16, 2024 (10/10)

    Nice and clean:)

    What could be improved: Nothing!

  • Weekend break – Anna from United Kingdom – December 14, 2023 (8/10)

informative host; lovely little apartment – pretty close to the old town and tourist attractions; within walking distance to corner shop; kitchen essentials clean and ready to use

  • Wonderful – Smiltė from Lithuania – November 27, 2023 (9/10)

It’s a really great place to stay for a weekend! Lots of space, it was clean, comfortable, there was netflix, wifi and it was only like 7 min walk to the old town!

What could be improved: There’s no private parking, so you have to look for a space on site 🙂 Also, it wasn’t a big problem but there was 4 of us but we didn’t find bath towels for everyone 🙁 There were no paper towels or napkins as well (to clean the tables, etc.), but everything else was really good!

  • Wonderful – Deimantė from Lithuania – November 18, 2023 (9/10)

Very goo location. Only a few minutes from old town. We really enjoyed our stay.

What could be improved: The only minus was the shower, water splashes everywhere.

  • Walking to the Castle – Lukasz from Poland – November 12, 2023 (9/10)

Nice comfy bed. Well equipped kitchen…very good location.

What could be improved: Could not operate Netflix but it did not matter that much

  • Very Good – Henry from Estonia – November 11, 2023 (8/10)

    Great location, cozy apartment.
There is now a shower curtain as well, so no problem with the shower flooding the bathroom.

What could be improved: If you’re a light sleeper, the noise from the street may be disturbing.

  • Completely satisfied – Larysa from Ukraine – October 9, 2023 (9/10)

What could be improved: Curtain in the shower, that’s the only thing was missing
