Hotel Description
You know what? I’ve stayed in a lot of places in Warsaw, and this little apartment on Dobra Street really surprised me. I mean, when you first walk up to the building – it’s one of those classic pre-war structures that somehow survived everything – you might wonder what you’ve gotten yourself into. But honestly, once you’re inside OldTown Cosy Apartment, it actually lives up to its name. The space feels genuinely lived-in rather than sterile, which is refreshing after all those cookie-cutter hotel rooms. There’s this warm, slightly worn charm to the place that makes you feel like you’re crashing at a friend’s pad rather than just passing through. The owner clearly put thought into the details – I’m talking about things like having enough outlets near the bed (thank god) and actually decent coffee in the kitchen, not those terrible instant packets most places stock.
Location-wise, you’re basically in the sweet spot of Śródmieście without the tourist circus that surrounds the main square. Dobra Street itself is pretty quiet, especially at night, which was perfect since I’m one of those light sleepers who gets cranky with street noise. You can walk to the Old Town in maybe ten minutes if you don’t mind a little stroll, but here’s the thing – you’re also super close to the Vistula riverbank, which locals actually use for evening walks and weekend bike rides. I discovered this completely by accident on my second day and ended up spending way more time down there than planned. The nearest tram stop is literally around the corner, and if you’re heading to the airport or central station, you won’t have to drag your luggage very far. Parking was… well, let’s just say it’s Warsaw, so street parking requires some patience and maybe a prayer or two, but the neighborhood isn’t as impossible as some areas closer to the castle.
What really sold me on this place was how it handled the little things that can make or break a stay. The check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no standing around a lobby for twenty minutes while they “prepare your room.” The Wi-Fi actually worked consistently (I was working remotely, so this mattered), and the shower had proper water pressure, which honestly feels like a minor miracle sometimes in older Warsaw buildings. Sure, you can hear your upstairs neighbors occasionally, and the stairs are definitely showing their age, but these feel like character quirks rather than real problems. The kitchen setup is solid enough that I ended up cooking a few meals instead of eating out constantly – there’s a decent grocery store about three blocks away on Tamka Street that locals use, so you’re not stuck with overpriced tourist shops. For a 3-star place with an 8.5 rating, it delivers exactly what it promises without trying to be something it’s not, which I genuinely appreciated after dealing with places that oversell and underdeliver.

Very Good – Jolanta from Latvia – July 7, 2025 (8/10)
Super nice apartment! The location was perfect and we honestly liked everything about it. The kitchen had everything we needed, check-in was super easy with clear instructions, and there was street parking nearby. Would definitely stay again!
Exceptional – Juozas from Lithuania – August 13, 2024 (10/10)
Exceptional location and very cosy apartment
What could be improved: Trams were a bit too loud into the night and very early morning, but for tight sleepers nit a problemPerfect place near old town – Viktorija from Lithuania – May 9, 2024 (10/10)
Clean, very well located and just perfect. We stayed for 2 nights – kitchen is good, we slept tight.
What could be improved: We liked it all. Keep in mind that apartment is near busy street so open windows during night might not good for light sleepers 🙂Perfect! – Katarzyna from United Kingdom – April 16, 2024 (10/10)
Nice and clean:)
What could be improved: Nothing!Weekend break – Anna from United Kingdom – December 14, 2023 (8/10)
informative host; lovely little apartment – pretty close to the old town and tourist attractions; within walking distance to corner shop; kitchen essentials clean and ready to use
Wonderful – Smiltė from Lithuania – November 27, 2023 (9/10)
It’s a really great place to stay for a weekend! Lots of space, it was clean, comfortable, there was netflix, wifi and it was only like 7 min walk to the old town!
What could be improved: There’s no private parking, so you have to look for a space on site 🙂 Also, it wasn’t a big problem but there was 4 of us but we didn’t find bath towels for everyone 🙁 There were no paper towels or napkins as well (to clean the tables, etc.), but everything else was really good!Wonderful – Deimantė from Lithuania – November 18, 2023 (9/10)
Very goo location. Only a few minutes from old town. We really enjoyed our stay.
What could be improved: The only minus was the shower, water splashes everywhere.Walking to the Castle – Lukasz from Poland – November 12, 2023 (9/10)

What could be improved: Could not operate Netflix but it did not matter that muchVery Good – Henry from Estonia – November 11, 2023 (8/10)
Great location, cozy apartment.
There is now a shower curtain as well, so no problem with the shower flooding the bathroom.
What could be improved: If you’re a light sleeper, the noise from the street may be disturbing.Completely satisfied – Larysa from Ukraine – October 9, 2023 (9/10)
What could be improved: Curtain in the shower, that’s the only thing was missing
