Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect from Olivia Apartments when I first walked up to 10 Puławska – the name is quite a mouthful, but don’t let that throw you off. This place turned out to be one of those pleasant surprises that makes you feel like you’ve discovered something the guidebooks missed. The location is actually brilliant if you know Warsaw at all. You’re right in Mokotów, which I mean, locals will tell you is where they’d rather stay than the touristy Old Town anyway. Plac Unii Lubelskiej is literally around the corner, and you know what? That’s where real Warsaw life happens – there’s this fantastic morning market on weekends, and the metro connection means you can get anywhere in the city without dealing with Warsaw’s notoriously unpredictable traffic.

The apartment itself feels genuinely sunny (hence “słoneczny,” I suppose), especially in the morning when light streams through these surprisingly large windows. It’s got that lived-in comfort that’s way better than sterile hotel rooms – you’ll find a proper kitchen where you can actually cook, not just heat up instant noodles. The furniture isn’t Instagram-perfect, but it’s comfortable and clean, which honestly matters more when you’re staying somewhere for more than a night or two. What really won me over was how quiet it gets at night, despite being on a fairly busy street. The building seems well-insulated, and by 10 PM, Puławska settles down considerably. I slept better here than I have in some five-star places, no joke.

Here’s the thing that really sets this spot apart – you’re walking distance from Łazienki Park, which is absolutely gorgeous any time of year, but especially in late spring when the peacocks are showing off and the palace gardens are in full bloom. I found myself taking morning runs through there, then grabbing coffee at this little place on Bagatela Street that the owner recommended. Pole Mokotowskie is right there too, and while it might just look like a big field to tourists, locals use it for everything from football games to summer concerts. The 9.1 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed here – it’s not fancy, but it delivers exactly what it promises. Parking can be a bit tricky (this is Warsaw, after all), but there’s usually something available on the side streets if you’re patient. The check-in was refreshingly straightforward – none of that awkward small talk you get at big hotels, just practical information about the neighborhood and how everything works. For a three-star place, it punches well above its weight, especially if you want to experience Warsaw like someone who actually lives here rather than just passing through.

  The neighbourhood was safe, there was a shop nearby, everything was close, i have even used a bus which was directly dropped IN FRONT OF THE APARTMENT. location was perfect! Having the keys in a sef was wonderful, i loved it!! the apartment was very clean. the bed was comfortable.
  
  What could be improved: It is not the apartment's fault, but there were a party above me both of the 2 nights and i have woken up several times during the night.. the walls are so thin you could not even do anything about it..

  The small but cozy apartment in the city of Warsaw. Very well connected by trams and bus. Not far from metro. This is a busy part of the city, so don't expect it to be very quiet. There is a shopping mall across the street and a number of small groceries, pubs, street food etc. The room is equipped with all basic things, like a microwave, TV, fridge, washing machine (no dishwasher, though). A perfect place for solo traveler or a couple for shorter stays.

  The apartment is cosy, near the center and different bus and tram stations are available to get into the center and old town. It was cosy and quite comfortable.
