The name actually makes sense once you’re there – there’s something genuinely refreshing about the whole place that feels like taking a deep breath after being stuck in typical tourist traps. It’s got that solid 4-star feel without trying too hard to impress you with marble everything and over-the-top chandeliers.

I mean, look, I’ve stayed in plenty of places that promise the world and deliver mediocre coffee and scratchy towels. But this place gets the basics right in a way that actually matters. The rooms have this clean, uncluttered vibe – not sterile like some boutique hotels, just… thoughtfully designed, I guess? The beds are honestly really comfortable (I’m picky about this), and whoever picked out the lighting knew what they were doing because you can actually read without squinting or having shadows everywhere. The bathrooms are well-designed too – proper water pressure and enough space to spread out your stuff without everything falling into the sink.

What really won me over though was how the staff handles things. Check-in was smooth without being overly scripted, and when I asked about dinner recommendations, the front desk person gave me actual local spots instead of just pointing to the hotel restaurant. You can tell they’ve figured out that sweet spot between being helpful and not hovering. The 8.5 rating feels about right – it’s not going to blow your mind with some crazy unique feature, but it delivers consistently on what matters. Honestly, sometimes that’s exactly what you want, especially if you’re planning to explore during the day and just need a solid base to come back to. The common areas stay reasonably quiet even when it’s busy, which tells me they’ve got the acoustics figured out better than most places. I’d definitely stay here again, particularly if I wanted somewhere reliable without the premium price tag of those flashier hotels that spend more on their lobby than their actual rooms.
