You know what? I was honestly a bit skeptical about staying in Praga Północ at first – it’s not exactly the touristy part of Warsaw that everyone talks about. But this Park Praski apartment on Okrzei Street turned out to be one of those pleasant surprises that makes you feel like you’ve discovered something locals actually know about. The building itself is pretty typical for the area, nothing fancy from the outside, but once you’re inside the apartment it’s clear someone put real thought into making it work for travelers. The two bedrooms are actually properly sized (not those cramped European “bedrooms” that barely fit a bed), and there’s this great little kitchen setup where you can actually cook if you want to save some zloty instead of eating out every meal. I mean, Warsaw’s restaurant scene is fantastic, but sometimes you just want to grab some pierogi from the market and heat them up at home, right?

What really sold me on this place was the location – and I don’t mean that in the generic “convenient location” way that every hotel claims. Okrzei Street puts you right in the heart of what feels like real Warsaw, where you’ll hear more Polish than English and the cafes aren’t charging tourist prices. Park Praski (the actual park, not just the apartment name) is literally a few minutes’ walk away, and honestly, it’s this gorgeous green space that most visitors completely miss because they’re stuck around the Old Town. The trams run frequently down the main streets nearby – you can get to the city center in maybe 15-20 minutes, but you’re staying somewhere that actually has character. There’s this great little bakery about two blocks away that opens early (around 6 AM I think?) and the smell of fresh bread sort of drifts through the neighborhood in the mornings.

The apartment itself feels lived-in rather than sterile – good WiFi, decent water pressure, and the kind of furniture that’s comfortable without trying too hard to be Instagram-worthy. Check-in was straightforward, though you’ll want to coordinate timing since it’s not a traditional hotel setup. Parking can be a bit tricky if you’re driving (street parking mostly), but honestly, you don’t really need a car from this spot anyway. The area gets pretty quiet at night, which was perfect for actually sleeping, though you’ll occasionally hear trams in the distance – but it’s more of a gentle city hum than anything disruptive. I stayed there in late spring and the whole neighborhood had this relaxed, residential vibe that made it feel less like a tourist experience and more like temporarily living somewhere interesting. For what you’re paying and the space you get, especially compared to cramped hotel rooms in the center, it’s actually a pretty solid choice if you want to experience Warsaw beyond the guidebook highlights.

  Nice apartment, exactly as advertised. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms. The host is willing to make contact, we checked in very late and the owner gave detailed instructions on where to find the keys and how to get into the flat. We would be happy to return if necessary.

  Very good location: plenty of restaurants arround, many grocery shops. You can easily reach the old town via pedestrian bridge. Also Zoo and Stadium is on a walking distance. It’s very convenient that apartment has a parking place in the yard. Apartment is conveniently equiped for a family of 5.

  What could be improved: The company asked me to pay a deposit for the damage. On the first day, I found that the floor tile in the kitchen was damaged, the bath drain wasn't working, so we couldn't take a bath, and the number of pulling ropes for curtains was damaged as well. They asked me to send evidence and an email. The purpose of the trip was leisure, not to collect evidence for damages. Asking for a deposit when the apartment is not in pristine condition is a very bad practice. Looks like a car rental practice not to pay the deposit back

  What could be improved: мы приехали вечером и долго не могли найти в темноте сейф с ключом для заселения. Необходимо точнее описать место нахождения , т. к. в темное время суток обнаружить его практически на земле крайне сложно.
  В остальном всё было превосходно!
