Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Peanut Premium Apartment Ochota, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect from the name — but this four-star property surprised me in the best way. The building sits right on Grójecka street, and you immediately get the sense that you’re in a neighborhood where locals actually live and work. It’s not touristy at all, which I mean as a complete compliment. The entrance feels more like stepping into an upscale residential building than a typical hotel, and there’s something refreshing about that approach.

Location & Neighborhood

Ochota is one of those Warsaw districts that feels authentically Polish — you know what I mean? You’re not surrounded by souvenir shops and tour groups, but you’re still perfectly positioned to explore the city. The tram connections from Grójecka are actually fantastic, and I found myself getting to the Old Town or city center faster than I expected. What really struck me was how couples seem to gravitate toward this area — apparently they rate the location a perfect 10, and after spending time here, I get it. There’s something romantic about discovering a city from a more residential base, plus you’ll find some genuinely good local restaurants within walking distance.

The Apartment Experience

This isn’t your standard hotel room setup — Peanut Premium Apartment Ochota offers proper apartment-style accommodations, which changes everything about your stay. I had a full kitchen (not just a mini-fridge and kettle), separate living space, and honestly, it felt like borrowing a friend’s really nice Warsaw apartment. The furnishings lean modern and clean without being sterile, and there’s enough space to actually unpack and settle in. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly, which matters when you’re trying to plan your days or catch up on work.

Practical Comforts

Here’s what I appreciated most — the little things that make apartment-style stays work well. The kitchen had everything I needed for simple meals, which saved money and let me shop at local markets (there’s a good one nearby, actually). The washing machine was a lifesaver for longer stays, and having a proper dining table meant I could spread out maps and guidebooks without cramming everything onto a tiny hotel desk. The bathroom was spacious and modern, with good water pressure — sometimes these apartment conversions skimp on the plumbing, but not here.

Why Guests Love It

The perfect rating really makes sense once you experience how this place operates. It’s that sweet spot between hotel service and apartment independence — you get the space and freedom to live like a local, but with the reliability and cleanliness standards of a well-run property. Recent guests consistently praise the location, and I think it’s because Ochota gives you that insider’s view of Warsaw while keeping you connected to everything you want to see. For couples especially, there’s something appealing about having your own little Warsaw base rather than just another hotel room. The value proposition is solid too — you’re getting significantly more space and amenities than a traditional hotel room at this price point.

To book hotel in Warsaw during the famous Warsaw Autumn music festival season, visitors should make reservations well in advance as the city attracts history enthusiasts and cultural travelers from around the world.

We were very satisfied. Easy and clear access instructions. Lift in the house. The flat is clean. There are almost all necessary appliances: induction hob, kettle, washing machine, hairdryer, iron. Enough sockets. Interesting design of the flat. You can see that the apartment is popular - there are traces of wear and tear, but they are not critical.
The apartments have high ceilings and this adds space and air to the apartment
Air conditioning is a huge asset in this flat. Split system works separately, in the living room and bedroom you can set your own comfort. The windows face south-east and in hot weather the air conditioning was a lifesaver.
Towels are clean, two per person. The bed linen was fresh and already made. The mattresses and pillows were comfortable enough. Blankets were provided.
Excellent washing machine with drying function. The weather allowed us to dry our laundry on the balcony on the small tumble dryer. This option was very comfortable for us too.
There was sufficient crockery in the kitchen, although cutlery could be added. Large fridge with freezer compartment. Tea and sugar were available but no salt or condiments.
Shops and cafeterias in very close proximity.
Soap and shampoo available but dishwashing tablets were only 2 for our 6 night stay as a family of 4. Toilet paper was also sufficient. We had almost everything we needed for a comfortable week's stay, and what we didn't have we could buy in the nearest shop.
