You know what? I wasn’t expecting much from Piękna Grey Studio when I first booked it – honestly, the name had me a bit confused, and I kept wondering if it was actually a proper hotel or just someone’s apartment they’d dressed up. But walking into this place on Piękna Street, I mean, it all made sense immediately. It’s tucked right in Śródmieście, which if you’ve never been to Warsaw, is basically where you want to be – close enough to everything that matters but not so smack in the center that you’re dealing with drunk tourists stumbling past your window at 3 AM. The building itself has that classic Warsaw charm (you know, the kind that survived everything this city’s been through), and the studio setup is actually pretty clever. They’ve managed to make these spaces feel way bigger than they probably are, with these gorgeous grey tones that somehow don’t feel cold or sterile like you’d expect.

What really got me was how quiet it stays, even though you’re literally a few minutes’ walk from the Palace of Culture – and trust me, that’s not something you can say about most places in this area. I spent a good chunk of my mornings just sitting by the window with coffee, watching the neighborhood wake up, and there’s something really authentic about this particular stretch of Piękna. You’ve got locals heading to work, not just tourists with their phones out taking pictures of everything. The check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – none of that overly formal hotel reception desk drama, just someone who actually seemed to know the area and could tell you where to grab the best pierogi nearby (which, by the way, is crucial information). I’ll be honest, the studio setup isn’t for everyone – if you’re traveling with a lot of luggage or you’re the type who needs a massive bathroom to spread out all your stuff, you might feel a bit cramped. But for what it is, everything works really well together.

The whole experience just felt… I don’t know, genuine? Like staying at a friend’s place who happens to have really good taste and knows how to make a small space work perfectly. You’re close enough to walk to Łazienki Park when you need some green space (which gets absolutely gorgeous in the early morning before the crowds show up), and the tram connections are right there when you want to explore other parts of the city. Plus – and this might sound weird – but the building has this particular smell in the hallways, sort of like old wood and coffee, that just made the whole place feel lived-in rather than corporate. I ended up extending my stay by two nights, partly because I loved the location but mostly because I’d gotten into this routine of walking down to the little bakery on the corner every morning, and honestly, I wasn’t ready to give that up yet.

  Beautiful clean flat, fully equipped kitchen, great location in walking distance to city centre.

  Very friendly communication with property management, nice and comfy bed and sofa, nicely updated bathroom and kitchen. Kitchen and bathroom areas were very clean and well prepared for the guests.
  
  What could be improved: Refrigirator disnt work. We've read about this in other guests reviews who stayed few months ago and were hoping that would be fixed by the time of our stay, but it was not fixed. please plan that the fridge will not be working if you going to stay here. Also, floors were not swept, dirt and hairs on the floor galore, even inside the wadrobe. Other areas were quite clean.
