Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to PiwnaEU on this narrow cobblestone street, you immediately get that “I’m in the real Warsaw” feeling. The building sits right in Śródmieście — honestly, you can’t get more central than this without camping in Castle Square. It’s one of those places where you step outside and realize you’re already where everyone else is trying to get to. The entrance has this understated elegance that doesn’t scream tourist trap, which I actually appreciate.
Location Magic
Here’s what I mean about being in the heart of everything — the Royal Castle is literally a three-minute walk, and Old Town Market Square is right there too. But you know what’s really smart about this spot? You’re close enough to all the major sights that you can pop back to your room between activities, which honestly saved me during those long summer sightseeing days. The couples who stay here seem to get it — there’s something romantic about wandering these historic streets and knowing your four-star base is just around the corner.
The Neighborhood Feel
Piwna Street itself has this authentic Warsaw character that you don’t always find in hotel districts. There are local cafés where you’ll hear more Polish than English, and small shops that feel like they’ve been there forever. I mean, you’re staying in a neighborhood rather than a tourist bubble, which makes a difference when you want to grab coffee in the morning or find a good restaurant that locals actually use. The trams and metro connections are solid too — Plac Zamkowy station gets you anywhere in the city pretty quickly.
What Makes It Work
The property itself strikes that nice balance between modern comfort and respecting the historic setting. You’re not getting some generic chain hotel experience here — there’s character in the details, and the staff seems to actually know the area well enough to give you real recommendations. The rooms are thoughtfully designed without being flashy, and honestly, when you’re this close to everything, you’re probably not spending tons of time inside anyway. The building feels solid and quiet despite being on a city street, which surprised me.
Why Guests Love It
Look, couples especially seem to fall for this place, and I get why — there’s something genuinely romantic about staying in the historic center and being able to stroll to dinner or drinks without planning transportation. The location score speaks for itself, but it’s more than just proximity to sights. You’re experiencing Warsaw the way it’s meant to be experienced, from a base that feels integrated into the city rather than separate from it. When you can walk out your door and be immediately immersed in centuries of history, well, that’s the kind of travel experience that sticks with you.
Best hotels in Warsaw range from charming boutique properties in the historic Old Town to elegant modern hotels with stunning views of the Vistula River and Palace of Culture.

Great comfy apartment in a cool historic location.
Amazing location in the old town, in a historic-feeling building. Apartment itself was clean and comfy too. Good communication from the host.
What could be improved: Shower was a bit hard to work out, but was fine once we did.
Great apartment in a great location
Great apartment in a great location. We could check in earlier which was amazing :)
What could be improved: Nothing, everything was great. I would only add recommendation for a coffee machine
Wonderful
Great location - bedroom windows are not facing the street, so no loud noises in the night
What could be improved: Only downside is that the big showerhead was a little bit broken, but the others work, so it was not a problem :)
Great stay in a perfect location!
The apartment’s location is absolutely perfect—everything is within walking distance, making it super convenient for exploring the city. The hosts were exceptionally informative.
The apartment itself is comfortable and well-equipped, with very cozy and comfortable beds, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The only small downside is that the plumbing could use some updates—the shower has a bit of a quirky feature, with water spraying upwards like a fountain! However, this was a minor issue in an otherwise great stay.
Overall, a solid choice for accommodation, and we would definitely consider coming back!
Exceptional

SUPER
Location is fantastic
Lovely place to stay for families
The accommodation is right in the middle of the old town. Within an arm's length you have access to places that will make the outing memorable for everyone, including the little ones! It was clean, warm (a bit of draft at the windows but that is manageable), well equipped and comfortable - almost like a second home. The communication with Ms. Bienias was very good, she is a gracious and helpful host.
Thank you for a wonderful time in Warsaw!
