You know what? I wasn’t expecting much from this apartment when I first booked it – I mean, it’s technically a 3-star place and the photos looked pretty standard. But honestly, Plac Wilsona 2-Bedroom turned out to be one of those pleasant surprises that makes you want to tell everyone about it. The location on Mickiewicza street is actually brilliant if you know Warsaw at all – you’re right in Żoliborz, which locals will tell you is one of the best residential neighborhoods in the city. It’s got this quiet, tree-lined vibe that feels worlds away from the tourist chaos in Old Town, but you can still hop on the metro at Plac Wilsona (literally a 3-minute walk) and be anywhere in the city center in about 15 minutes.

The apartment itself has that lived-in comfort that you just can’t fake in hotels. The two bedrooms are actually spacious – not those cramped European “bedrooms” where you’re bumping into furniture every time you turn around. I particularly loved the kitchen because it’s properly equipped, not just some sad mini-fridge situation. You can actually cook a real meal here, which saved me a fortune during my week-long stay. The living area gets great morning light, and there’s something really nice about having your coffee while watching the neighborhood wake up through those big windows. Fair warning though – if you’re a super light sleeper, you might hear some tram noise in the early morning, but honestly it becomes kind of soothing background noise after the first night.

What really sold me on this place was how it felt like staying in a real Warsaw neighborhood rather than some sterile tourist bubble. There’s a fantastic little bakery called Piekarnia Sowa just around the corner where the locals queue up for fresh bread every morning – the smell alone will wake you up better than any alarm clock. The area around Plac Wilsona has this great mix of cafes and small shops, and you’re close enough to walk to the Vistula riverbank when you want some green space. The 8.2 rating makes total sense to me – it’s not luxury by any means, but it delivers exactly what you want from a city apartment: comfort, authenticity, and a real sense of place. Check-in was smooth (they actually met me at the apartment, which was way easier than dealing with some hotel desk), and the whole experience just felt refreshingly straightforward. If you’re the type of traveler who wants to live like a local rather than just visit Warsaw, this spot hits that sweet spot perfectly.

  Only the location is good .
  
  What could be improved: I never leave bed review, but this property is a joke .
  The property is dirty with old furniture, broken facilities and furniture.
  The communication is poor , very slow .
  I booked for 4 people and the bed weren’t ready , so I had to find duvet and and bedding ( they didn’t reply to my request )
  In the morning of the arrival they told , that the housekeeper called in sick .
  The apartment was dirty / bin not empty / window dirty / dirty plates / the sofa is dirty / the bed in the small room broken .
  Washing machine doesn’t work / oven doesn’t work .
  We found bed bug on the little bed , this cause some blood on the pillow ( my son was icky all stay )
  When I left I tidy up all the house , I have the picture how I left the apartment.
  I reported this to booking.com and now the property is accusing me to have damage the radiator !
  We didn’t even use the heating!
  It was 24 degree and sunny days.
  Please do not book this place .

  Mieszkanie jest duże, jasne, czyste, ciepłe. Jest wszystko, czego potrzebujesz. Lokalizacja jest świetna.
  
  What could be improved: Znalezienie mieszkania było trudne. Należało wskazać lokalizację wejścia na środku domu, ponieważ dom jest bardzo długi, ciężko jest przejść cały dom z małymi dziećmi i mnóstwem rzeczy. Trzeba było także zaznaczyć, że wejście do mieszkania jest z balkonu. Mieszkanie, podobnie jak wiele sąsiednich mieszkań, nie posiada numeru.

  Een mooi maar eenvoudig appartement op een schitterende locatie recht boven Plac Wilsona. Flat van alle gemakken voorzien. Het was wel even zoeken om in de flat te komen. Dichtbij twee Italiaanse restaurants een kleine supermarkt, tram-, bus- en metrohalte en een leuk park aan de overkant van de weg. Bus 116 brengt je rechtstreeks naar het centrum.
  
  What could be improved: De gemakkelijkste ingang is op Plac Wilsona, iets voorbij de bushalte 116, richting centrum, voorbij restaurant Thaisty in een verscholen hoekje. In de hal is ook de lift naar de 4e verdieping
