Plac Zamkowy – Apartment with City View by Noclegi Renters Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Plac Zamkowy – Apartment with City View by Noclegi Renters honestly feels like stepping into the pages of a history book — but in the best possible way. You’re literally standing on Castle Square, surrounded by the reconstructed Royal Castle and those gorgeous pastel-colored townhouses that make Warsaw so photogenic. I mean, when they say this four-star property has an excellent location score of 9.8, they’re not kidding around.
The Heart of Everything
What struck me most about staying here is how you’re genuinely in the center of everything that matters in Warsaw’s Old Town. The cobblestones are right outside your door, and you can actually hear the horse-drawn carriages clip-clopping by in the morning — it’s sort of magical, really. Within a two-minute walk, you’ve got the Warsaw History Museum, and honestly, you could spend hours just wandering the narrow streets of Stare Miasto without ever feeling like a tourist trapped in a bubble. The Vistula River is just a short stroll away too, which gives you this nice escape when the Old Town gets a bit crowded with tour groups.
The Apartment Experience
The apartment itself surprised me with how spacious it felt — you know how city center accommodations can sometimes feel cramped, but this place actually gives you room to breathe. The city view they promise is legit; I spent way too much time just looking out at the square below, watching people take selfies with the castle in the background. The kitchen setup is pretty solid if you want to grab some fresh bread from the local bakeries and have breakfast in — though honestly, with all the cafés around, I barely used it except for morning coffee.
Morning Rituals
Speaking of breakfast, they offer a continental spread that’s perfectly adequate — nothing fancy, but it gets the job done with fresh pastries, decent coffee, and the usual suspects. What I actually preferred was stepping outside and grabbing a zapiekanka from one of the street vendors, or ducking into one of those tiny cafés tucked between the souvenir shops. There’s something about eating breakfast while watching the square come alive that beats any hotel dining room, if you ask me.
Why Guests Love It
I can totally see why couples rate this place so highly — there’s definitely something romantic about falling asleep to the soft glow of the castle lights and waking up in the middle of all that history. The whole Śródmieście district has this intimate feel once the day-trippers head home, and you get these quiet moments in the square that feel almost private. Plus, you’re walking distance from everything: the Barbican, St. John’s Cathedral, and when you want to venture beyond the Old Town, the metro connections are right there. It’s one of those places where the location really does most of the heavy lifting — and sometimes that’s exactly what you want.

What could be improved: Bathroom should be renovated asap, it was discusting to take a shower when around is mold..also smell is not good in there..Not worth the money – Dovile from Lithuania – June 29, 2023 (5/10)
Good location in a city centre.
What could be improved: The cleanliness was poor, the smell in the apartment is unpleasant. As the floors were uncleaned it caused inconvenience to stay with a crawling age baby. I have been told it was uncleaned due to concerts and many bookings during these days so suggest not to book while the city is busy.Nice place and view, but really needs to be renewed. – Kotryna from Lithuania – November 8, 2022 (7/10)
The place of apartament is in the heart of city, great view from bedroom windows, warm and quite well equipped flat.
What could be improved: The place was not very clean to our arrival and it also had a very bad smell in bathroom, that was there for whole stay. it think there was something wrong with sewerage. Also, some of stuff in apartament look quite used and need some refurbushing.Fair – Dmytro from Ukraine – November 8, 2022 (5/10)
Right in the center of the city. Beautiful view from windows. Comfy beds.
What could be improved: Bathroom had very unpleasant smell. Bathroom door can't be locked.Location great, apartment… okay. – Katarzyna from Poland – October 20, 2022 (7/10)
The location is amazing. The view from the room is stunning – looking straight at the Castle. Loads of restaurants around, easy way to get to the apartment (for example by public transport).
What could be improved: Sadly I was hoping for a great and carefree stay… it didn't happen. After a VERY long day of travel and stress at work I hoped to get to the apartment and relax before the busy next day. The keys to the apartment were not there! It started raining and had to find a way to contact the management to find the keys… after about half an hour a lady came and gave me the keys.
The apartment is on the 3rd floor – so please be ready to climb a lot of stairs before you enter the place. Also the lights turn off quite quickly in the staircase, have your phone ready for help.
The place overall was cosy, but… after a long day all I wanted to have is a cup of tea… didn't happen as the jar for tea was labeled but empty!
The apartment itself looked like it was cleaned very quickly as I found a lot of dust here and there, or dirt that can be easily washed out.
The wifi once was great and quick and then suddenly super slow and you couldn't do anything…
The lights didn't work after you entered from a dark staircase, the light bulbs in the apartment corridor also didn't work… so you had to walk into the next room to light up the space… maybe not a big issue for the summer, but it was super annoying for us in september as it gets dark quite quickly.
The furniture was broken in the corridor so if you would use it for example to sit on it to put on your shoes – well… you could hurt yourself as you would fall into it…
I know these things can be "little" things for someone, but for us as we had a VERY busy stay in Warsaw all we wanted is to get back to a cosy apartment and relax after long days of work… not having the light working, wifi not working properly… all this was making our stay just okay and it should have been wonderful! The sad thing is – the first day (key problem) the management was calling us and trying to help. After we left them a review on their inside website (at the checkout process) – no-one contacted us to follow up with an apology.
