Overview

You know what, I was honestly surprised by Platinum Towers Apartments when I stayed there last spring. The name makes it sound way fancier than it actually is – it’s really more of a solid, no-nonsense aparthotel that gets the job done without any pretense. The location on Siedmiogrodzka is pretty sweet though, especially if you’re someone who likes being close to the action but not right in the tourist chaos. You’re in Wola, which I mean, five years ago nobody would’ve recommended, but now it’s actually become this cool area with decent cafes and that massive Rondo ONZ shopping center just a short tram ride away. The building itself looks a bit Soviet-era from the outside (honestly, half of Warsaw does), but inside it’s been updated enough that you won’t feel like you’re staying in a time capsule.

The apartments themselves are surprisingly spacious – I had this one-bedroom unit that actually felt like a real apartment, not some cramped hotel room with a tiny kitchenette shoved in the corner. The kitchen was properly equipped too, which was great because there’s a Ε»abka convenience store literally around the corner, and if you walk maybe ten minutes toward the center, you’ll hit this fantastic little market where locals actually shop. I loved that I could grab fresh bread and make coffee in the morning instead of paying hotel prices for breakfast. The Wi-Fi was solid (worked great for video calls), and the heating was reliable – important in Warsaw, trust me. One thing though, the walls aren’t super thick, so if you get unlucky with neighbors, you might hear some noise. I was there during a quieter period in April, so it wasn’t an issue for me.

What really sold me on this place was how easy it made getting around the city. There’s a tram stop practically at your doorstep, and you can get to Old Town in maybe 20 minutes without any hassle. The staff at reception spoke good English and actually seemed to know the neighborhood – they pointed me toward this amazing pierogi place on ChΕ‚odna that I never would’ve found otherwise. Parking was straightforward too, which honestly can be a nightmare in central Warsaw. For a 3-star place with an 8.2 rating, it delivers exactly what you’d expect – clean, comfortable, functional, and well-located. It’s not going to wow you with luxury touches or Instagram-worthy design, but if you want a proper base for exploring Warsaw without paying Old Town prices, this is a smart choice. I’d definitely stay here again, especially for longer trips where having that kitchen and extra space really makes a difference.

Just ok

Location was ok, it was quiet , apartment was fine

What could be improved: AC was only in one room and it was not the bedroom so it was very disappointing because I specifically chose it for the AC. Everything in the apartment was very poor quality - clearly it was finished the cheapest way to be rented. It was all working but it was unpleasant experience.

The apartment is actually not bad. The only thing is that some places need a little renovation.

The apartment is actually not bad. The only thing is that some places need a little renovation. From what I personally did not find very comfortable - the bed is broken, sleep is very important, it is not good to sleep on this bed, my back hurts after sleeping. There was no hair dryer in the apartment, unfortunately the owner did not respond to my request to provide one. I had to go to the salon to wash my hair, because I can't help but dry my hair. Otherwise, the apartment is good, the location is great.
