Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard “P&O Apartments” I was expecting something pretty corporate and sterile, but this place on Gierymskiego actually surprised me in the best way. It’s tucked into Mokotów, which honestly is one of those Warsaw neighborhoods that locals love but tourists somehow miss. You’re not in the thick of Old Town chaos here, but you’re also not stuck in some soulless business district either. The building itself has that solid, no-nonsense Polish apartment block vibe – nothing fancy from the outside, but once you’re inside, the apartments are genuinely comfortable and well thought out. I mean, these feel like actual homes, not hotel rooms with a kitchenette slapped in as an afterthought. The kitchens have proper full-size fridges (thank god), and the living spaces actually have enough room to spread out your stuff without feeling like you’re living in a shoebox.

What really won me over was the neighborhood itself – Gierymskiego street is this quiet residential stretch where you’ll see locals walking their dogs in the morning and kids playing in the small parks nearby. There’s a Żabka convenience store literally around the corner (you know, the green ones that are everywhere in Poland), and if you walk maybe ten minutes toward Puławska street, you hit this strip with some really solid local restaurants and cafes that aren’t trying to be tourist traps. The tram connections are actually pretty decent too – you can catch the 4 or 13 and be in the city center in maybe 20 minutes, though honestly, I found myself just enjoying the slower pace of this area. Parking was way easier than I expected for Warsaw, and the building has this small courtyard that’s surprisingly peaceful considering you’re still in a major city.

The only thing that caught me off guard was how quiet it gets at night – I mean, coming from the constant hum of central Warsaw, the silence here was almost weird at first. But honestly? After a couple days of sightseeing and dealing with crowds, coming back to this calm little pocket felt perfect. The 8.8 rating makes total sense to me – it’s not trying to be some luxury experience, but everything just works the way it should. Check-in was straightforward, the wifi didn’t constantly drop out like it does in half the places I’ve stayed, and the beds were actually comfortable (not those rock-hard European mattresses that leave you feeling like you’ve been sleeping on concrete). If you’re the type who wants to experience Warsaw more like a temporary resident than a tourist passing through, this spot really delivers on that front. Plus, you know what? For a 3-star place, they’ve clearly put thought into the details that actually matter when you’re staying somewhere for more than just a night or two.

  great flat. really recommend it. but be aware, finding a parking spot is a challenge, because the property is located in sleeping district of Warsaw. However, the condition of the flat is excellent.
  Everything was easy: entry into property, facilities were great, one would find everything needed in the kitchen: fridge, cooker, kettle, cutlery, everything.

  Easy self-check-in and check-out. Nice apartment, recently renovated, well equipped. Comfortable bed and sofa bed. Lots of wardrobes. Easy to park (although there are not too many spots available). Grocery stores nearby. Quick contact through Whatsapp.
  
  What could be improved: There are no cons! Minor ones: we didn't like the huge and fancy pillows. They are soft and could be replaced with cheaper and harder ones. The overall cleanliness was good but we took some minutes to remove some dust and small objects (a coin etc) from the floor.

  What could be improved: As soon as we entered the house, it was clear that no one had cleaned the floors, there was small debris everywhere, such as food leftovers, tangerine peels, hair, stains in the kitchen, dirt. There was no soap in the kitchen, the sink was also untidy. All the cabinets, appliances, dishes with greasy fingerprints and food leftovers everywhere. Dust on the windowsills and table. We immediately reported this to the owners of the apartment and sent photos. They said that they did not think there was anything wrong with it. We were horrified by such attitude, found a vacuum cleaner and cleaned it up as best we could ourselves. When we got to the rooms, another surprise awaited us, only one double bed was made up, and we paid for 4 people according to the order. We reported this to the owner, he wrote back that we could make the beds ourselves. We found the bedding on the table, and we also found some inside the beds, the point is that all the bedding was dirty and had a bad smell, it was used! even the bed that was already made up, we could see in its bedding that someone had already slept, there were women's hairs everywhere and signs of use. We were in shock. This is disgusting. When you pay 100 euros per night for a night and get a neglected, dirty apartment with dirty bedding, which we had to make ourselves it is awful experience. The conditions are much worse than in a hostel, because at least you get clean bedding there. The photos in the ad are beyond reality. The apartment requires renovation and deep cleaning.

  Appartement très bien situé à côté du tramway qui mène à la vieille ville. Il est agréable et assez bien insonorisé même s’il est un peu sombre.
  La communication a été rapide et efficace. Les informations pour accéder à l’appartement étaient claires.
  
  What could be improved: Nous avons eu du mal à trouver un stationnement le soir de notre arrivée. Ce fut plus facile le lendemain matin quand tout le monde était parti au travail et nous n’avons plus pris la voiture au cas où…

  Lokalizacja bardzo dobra, blisko do komunikacji miejskiej, a taksówką 13 minut do centrum. Niecałe 20 minut pieszo do Łazienek. Mieszkanie nieduże, a mimo to spokojnie zmieściły się 4 osoby.
  
  What could be improved: W jednej sypialni nie były przygotowane łóżka. Pościel musieliśmy założyć sami. Mimo informacji, że będą 4 osoby, na wierzchu przygotowane były tylko 3 ręczniki, czwarty udało się w końcu znaleźć pod jednym z łóżek. Był dostępny ekspres na kapsułki – niestety kapsułek brak…
