Hotel Description
You know what struck me first about P&O Apartments Piwna II? The location is honestly kind of perfect if you want to actually experience Warsaw rather than just see it. I mean, you’re literally on Piwna Street in the heart of Śródmieście – which sounds fancy but really just means you can stumble out the door and be surrounded by the kind of cafes and bars where locals actually hang out. The building itself sits right between the Royal Castle area and the Vistula River, so you’ve got this nice mix of tourist stuff when you want it and real neighborhood vibes when you don’t. Walking to Old Town takes maybe eight minutes on foot, but honestly, I found myself spending more time exploring the little side streets around the apartment because there’s always something interesting tucked away.
The apartments themselves are what I’d call “properly comfortable” – nothing flashy, but everything works the way it should. Three stars might sound modest, but that 8.6 rating makes sense once you’re there because the place just… functions well, you know? The rooms are bigger than most hotel rooms you’ll find in central Warsaw, which is saying something since space is pretty premium around here. I particularly appreciated having a proper kitchenette because eating out every meal in Warsaw can get expensive fast, and there’s a small grocery store literally around the corner on Podwale Street where you can grab basics. The Wi-Fi actually works consistently (not always a given in older Warsaw buildings), and the water pressure is solid – again, small things that matter when you’re staying somewhere for more than a night or two.
What really won me over though was how quiet it gets at night, despite being so central. Piwna isn’t one of those streets where drunk tourists stumble around at 3 AM, but you’re still close enough to the action that you can walk to most places you’d want to go. The staff – well, they’re not hovering around like at a big hotel, but when you need something sorted, they’re responsive and actually helpful rather than just polite. Check-in was straightforward, no drama with keys or deposits. I stayed there during shoulder season in late September, and the whole area had this nice energy where it felt lived-in rather than overrun with tour groups. Honestly, if you’re the type of traveler who wants to feel like you’re staying in Warsaw rather than just visiting it, this place hits that sweet spot between location, comfort, and not breaking the bank. Just don’t expect luxury amenities – but if you wanted those, you probably wouldn’t be looking at apartment-style accommodations anyway.

Reviews
Attractive and comfortable studio apartment in a great location. – Z from Poland – March 28, 2025 (8/10)
Very convenient and centrally located in the Old Town; on a pleasant street. Comfortable, large and light room; first floor level was ideal. Bathroom was nice with good shower. P&O were very helpful and friendly. Strongly recommend.
What could be improved: Kitchen and bar were a bit small and high stools were not comfortable for us. Curtains let in too much light. More electric sockets or extensions would be useful.Wonderful – Darius from Lithuania – April 13, 2025 (9/10)
Central location close to all historical places.
Wifi doesn't work. TV internet as well and just 4 TV channels in Polish. Room already shows signs of wear.Nice place to stay for a short visit – Ela from Sweden – July 27, 2025 (7/10)
We like the large and light room. The communication with the company works well.
What could be improved: It felt that the room wasn’t clean so well (floor). There were noises from the street when the window was open and we could not use properly the window blinds.Very Good – Adam from Poland – July 31, 2025 (8/10)
Zdecydowanie polecam
Very Good – Estera from Poland – July 20, 2025 (8/10)

Wonderful – Beate from Norway – April 8, 2025 (9/10)
Veldig sentralt. Perfekt beliggenhet.
What could be improved: Internett funket ikke. Madrassen manglet, lå på en tykk overmadrass. Men ikke så galt likevel2 giorni a varsavia – Max from Italy – May 23, 2025 (8/10)
What could be improved: Pochi appendi asciugamani in bagno.
What could be improved: Mieszkanie specyficznie wyposażone: brak zmywarki a dostępne były tabletki do zmywania; w zlewie brak gąbki do umycia naczyń a płyn był. Exceptional – Radzikowska from Australia – July 6, 2025 (10/10)
Exceptional – Hanna from Canada – June 10, 2025 (10/10)
