But this place really surprised me in the best way possible. It’s tucked away on Ludwika Rydygiera street in Żoliborz, which is actually one of Warsaw’s most underrated neighborhoods if you ask me. The area has this quiet, residential vibe that feels authentically Polish without being touristy – you’ll see locals walking their dogs and kids playing in the small parks nearby. I mean, it’s not the flashy Old Town that everyone talks about, but that’s exactly why I loved it. The apartment itself was way more spacious than I expected (European “apartments” can be pretty tiny, let’s be honest), and everything felt clean and well-maintained. The kitchen actually had proper cookware, not those flimsy pans you usually get in vacation rentals, which was perfect since there’s a small grocery store just a few blocks down Mickiewicza street.

Getting around from here is honestly pretty easy once you figure out Warsaw’s public transport – there’s a bus stop practically outside the door, and you can catch the 180 or 409 to get to the city center in about 20 minutes. The neighborhood itself is super walkable, especially if you head toward the Vistula River, which is maybe a 10-minute stroll away. I actually spent a couple evenings just wandering along the riverbank – it’s where locals go to jog or have picnics, and there’s something really peaceful about it after a day of sightseeing. The only minor thing I’d mention is that the street can get a bit busy during morning rush hour (around 7-8 AM), but it’s not terrible, and honestly, it just adds to that authentic city living experience. Check-in was surprisingly smooth – they have this keypad system that actually works (I’ve had some disasters with those before), and the host was really responsive when I had questions about the washing machine. The Wi-Fi was solid throughout the apartment, which is crucial when you’re trying to navigate a new city or catch up on work. What really won me over was all the little touches – proper blackout curtains (seriously underrated when you’re jet-lagged), a coffee machine that makes decent espresso, and enough towels that you don’t feel like you’re rationing them. Plus, there’s this great little café called Café Nowy Świat about a 15-minute walk away where locals actually hang out, not just tourists taking Instagram photos.

To book a hotel in Warsaw during major European summits, travelers need early planning as this political capital draws visitors eager to experience its reconstructed old town and modern business districts.

  The location was good, grocery stores near, balcony, quiet.
  
  What could be improved: Canceled our reservation 1 or 2 weeks before trip offering a different apartment, which should have been cheaper considering it had no separate dining table, AC or coffee machine.
