Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to P&O Apartments Warecka Street on that narrow cobblestone street, I honestly wasn’t expecting much from the exterior — but you know what, sometimes the best places hide in plain sight. This four-star property sits right in Śródmieście, and I mean literally in the heart of everything that matters in Warsaw. The building itself has that classic Polish charm, tucked between other historic facades on Warecka Street, which actually feels more intimate than intimidating.

The Location Magic

Here’s the thing about this spot — you’re basically a five-minute walk from the Royal Castle and maybe three minutes from the main shopping drag on Nowy Świat. I watched couples stroll past my window heading to dinner, and honestly, I get why the location scores so high with romantic travelers. The Old Town is right there, but you’re not dealing with the tourist chaos that comes with staying directly on the market square. It’s like having a secret base camp where you can duck back between sightseeing sessions.

The Apartment Experience

The apartment I stayed in felt more like borrowing a friend’s place than checking into a hotel — and I mean that in the best way possible. There’s a proper kitchen with everything you actually need, not just a sad mini-fridge and kettle situation. The room layout makes sense too, with enough space to spread out your stuff without tripping over your suitcase every time you move around. The windows are surprisingly good at blocking out street noise, which matters when you’re this central.

Practical Comforts

What I really appreciated was how they’ve thought through the details that matter when you’re staying somewhere for more than just a night. The Wi-Fi actually works properly — I was video calling back home without any drama. The shower has decent pressure, and there’s enough hot water for a proper wash after walking around the city all day. Parking can be tricky in this part of Warsaw, but they’ve sorted out arrangements that actually work, which honestly saved me a lot of stress.

Why Guests Love It

Look, this isn’t the fanciest place you’ll ever stay, but it gets the fundamentals right in a way that matters. You’re paying for that incredible location — seriously, a 9.7 location score doesn’t happen by accident — and getting a comfortable, functional space that feels like home base for exploring Warsaw. The couples who rate this place so highly aren’t wrong; there’s something really nice about being able to walk to dinner, grab groceries for breakfast, and still feel like you’re staying somewhere with character rather than a generic hotel box. The restaurant options nearby are plentiful, and the spa facilities add an extra layer of relaxation after busy days of sightseeing.

Best hotels in Warsaw range from charming boutique properties in the historic Old Town to elegant modern hotels with stunning views of the Vistula River and Palace of Culture.

A pleasant stay.

Cozy and spacious apartment in a great location.
Warm with hot water all the time.
Nice decoration and furniture.
It is a good place to stay, I recommend.
Fast responses at the messages.
I suggest though to the manager to go once at the apartment, it is lacking some attention that will make it perfect.

What could be improved: Not so clean, apart from the toilets.
Dusty surfaces, a bit too much in some places, not helpful for allergies.
Dirty cupboards, we need to wash everything before use.
No coffee capsules, but the coffee machine was full with used ones.
The washing machine needed repair to work.
The beds were small and the bed linen didn't cover the surface of the mattress.
The curtains were not that dark, so if you can't sleep with daylight it is a minus.
