Hotel Description

Honestly, P&O Apartments on Warecka Street turned out to be one of those pleasant surprises you stumble across in Warsaw’s city center. I mean, it’s not going to blow you away with luxury – it’s a solid 3-star spot – but there’s something genuinely comfortable about the place that makes it feel more like staying at a well-organized friend’s apartment than a typical hotel. The building itself has that classic Warsaw character, you know, the kind that survived everything this city’s been through, and when you walk up to 4/6 Warecka, you’re literally in the heart of Śródmieście. What I really appreciated was how quiet it actually gets at night, which honestly surprised me given how central you are – you’re basically a few minutes’ walk from the Royal Castle and all that tourist chaos, but somehow the street itself doesn’t get the late-night noise that hits some of the main drags.

The apartments themselves are pretty straightforward but thoughtfully set up. You get actual kitchen space (not just a mini-fridge and a prayer), which is clutch if you’re staying more than a couple nights or if you want to grab some pierogi from the market and heat them up properly. The Wi-Fi actually works – I know that sounds basic, but you’d be amazed how many places in this price range still struggle with that. Check-in was refreshingly simple too, none of that endless paperwork dance you sometimes get. I will say the elevator is… well, it’s very European, let’s put it that way – if you’re traveling with massive suitcases, maybe pack lighter or embrace the stairs as part of your Warsaw workout routine. The neighborhood vibe is really what sold me on this place though. You’re close enough to walk to Krakowskie Przedmieście for your morning coffee run, and there’s this little bakery around the corner that locals actually use – you can smell the fresh bread in the mornings, which beats any hotel breakfast buffet if you ask me.

What’s funny is that the 7.7 rating actually feels about right – it’s not trying to be something it’s not, but it delivers on what matters. The beds are comfortable enough that you’re not counting ceiling tiles at 3 AM, the heating works (crucial during Warsaw winters, trust me), and the whole place just feels clean and well-maintained without being sterile. You’re also perfectly positioned to explore the Old Town without being stuck in the middle of the tourist bubble – Warecka Street gives you that local neighborhood feeling while keeping you close to everything you probably want to see. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle if you’re driving, but honestly, you don’t need a car from this location anyway. The tram connections are solid, and most of central Warsaw is walkable from here. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I was doing one of those longer Warsaw trips where you want to actually settle in rather than just crash between sightseeing marathons.

Best hotels in Warsaw range from charming boutique properties in the historic Old Town to elegant modern hotels with stunning views of the Vistula River and Palace of Culture.

  • Wonderful – David from United Kingdom – October 7, 2024 (9/10)

Great location, self check in and out very simple, very clean spacious apartment I would highly recommend.

  • Very Good – Dimitrios from Greece – December 19, 2023 (8/10)

The apartment was very close to the city and we didn't have to walk much as everything was close.
It was quite clean and warm, as it should be for the weather. The beds were comfortable to sleep on.

  • Good+ – Irmantas from Lithuania – August 8, 2023 (8/10)

Location is perfect, very good apartments, everything was nice – except Shower/Bath.

What could be improved: evaluation 8 because of shower/bath: impossible to take a shower – because there is no where to hang a shower head. Impossible to take a bath – because bath plug is not fixing – so impossible to fill a bath with water.

Shower and bath should be fixed – asap!

  • Wonderful – Bronagh from Ireland – July 18, 2023 (9/10)

This apartment is in a fantastic location. It is really bright and airy with lots of open space. Loved the great use of space-saving equipment. Decor was lovely, and it was spotlessly clean. Would definitely stay here again.

    What could be improved: Nothing

  • if I have to go back in Warsaw I will use the same flat. – Anca from United Kingdom – March 7, 2023 (9/10)

very good location, clean and nice view from the apartment windows, perfect size for a group of people, and good amenities.

What could be improved: it can be done some improvement to the shower and heating. it was a bit chilly during the day and the shower has slow water power, also the hot water didn’t last for very long.

  • A pleasant stay. – Tolia from Greece – March 25, 2025 (7/10)

Cozy and spacious apartment in a great location.
Warm with hot water all the time.
    Nice decoration and furniture.
It is a good place to stay, I recommend.
    Fast responses at the messages.
I suggest though to the manager to go once at the apartment, it is lacking some attention that will make it perfect.

What could be improved: Not so clean, apart from the toilets.
Dusty surfaces, a bit too much in some places, not helpful for allergies.
Dirty cupboards, we need to wash everything before use.
No coffee capsules, but the coffee machine was full with used ones.
The washing machine needed repair to work.
The beds were small and the bed linen didn't cover the surface of the mattress.
The curtains were not that dark, so if you can't sleep with daylight it is a minus.

  • Good – Gary from United States – July 17, 2024 (7/10)

What could be improved: Broken washing machine.

  • Good – Erwinbt from Belgium – June 15, 2023 (7/10)

Nice and big apartment with basic comfort. Very quiet and close to city centre. Very good bed

What could be improved: A 5-day stay with only 2 towels for 2 persons – so 1 towel each for the whole stay, to be used as bad towel as well as for intermittently drying your hands and face – … request for one more set of towels was denied.
Also limited toiletpaper… you have to buy it yourself…
    No towels in the kitchen.

  • Nice place to stay but needs better cleaning. – Radvilė from Lithuania – February 2, 2023 (7/10)

Perfect location to stay. New furnitures and spacious apartments.

What could be improved: One of the doors lock was broken, a stand to put coats was broken too. Everything was clean except kitchen, oven was really dirty, we didn’t event want to cook anything, cutlery was dirty too. Sofa wasn’t well cleaned too. Everywhere else were clean.

  • Great accommodations! – Anna from Ukraine – April 10, 2023 (10/10)

Very clean, comfortable and perfect location! Definitely recommend it!
