You know what? P&O Apartments Wiejska II is one of those places that actually gets Warsaw right. I mean, it’s tucked away on this quiet residential street in Śródmieście, but you’re literally a five-minute walk from the Presidential Palace – which sounds fancy until you realize it just means you’re perfectly positioned for everything that matters. The building itself has that solid, understated Polish charm – not flashy, but honestly built and well-maintained. When I first walked up, I was worried it might be one of those sterile apartment-hotels, but the lobby has this warm, lived-in feeling that immediately put me at ease.

The apartments themselves are surprisingly spacious for Warsaw (and trust me, space is at a premium in this city). I stayed in what they called a one-bedroom, but it felt more like a proper flat than a hotel room – there’s actually room to spread out your stuff without everything ending up on the bed. The kitchen is fully equipped, which saved me a fortune since eating out every meal in central Warsaw can get expensive fast. What I really appreciated was how quiet it was at night; Wiejska street doesn’t get the tourist foot traffic that some of the main drags do, so you can actually sleep without earplugs. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly – important when you’re trying to navigate Uber or figure out the tram system – and the heating was solid, which matters more than you’d think during Warsaw’s unpredictable spring weather.

Here’s the thing about the location that really won me over: you’re close enough to walk to the Old Town in about fifteen minutes, but you’re also right near Nowy Świat and Krakowskie Przedmieście where the real action is. There’s this excellent pierogi place called Zapiecek just a few blocks away that locals actually go to (not just tourists), and the Copernicus Science Centre is an easy stroll if you’re traveling with kids. The staff was genuinely helpful – not just polite, but actually knowledgeable about the neighborhood. When I asked about getting to Chopin Airport, they didn’t just hand me a generic card; they explained the different transport options and which one would work best depending on my departure time. Look, it’s a solid 3-star place that doesn’t pretend to be something it’s not. The 7.5 rating feels about right – it’s not going to blow your mind, but it delivers exactly what you need for exploring Warsaw without breaking the bank. The only minor gripe I had was that the elevator is pretty small, so if you’re traveling with lots of luggage, you might need to make two trips. But honestly? For the price and location, I’d definitely stay here again.

  Very quiet apartment. Very comfortable, clean bed and plenty of hot water.
  
  What could be improved: Struggled a bit to get in the gate and find the block as arrived later than expected and it was dark. From the picture it looked like it might have been one of the flat with the balcony overlooking the road but it wasn’t. It was on the other side in the block with the Beauty Salon. Also the code given had an * which you didn’t need and was a bit misleading late at night etc Would have been easier if daylight when I arrived.

  Location was great, size of room, design, cleanliness all great. Most things worked as they should.
  Service was very good, we had questions on a few things, and the service team were very quick to answer and resolve any problems.
  
  What could be improved: A few small notes, we could have done with a few spares, eg toilet paper, bin bags.
  No AC, which is fine, but the room could get a bit stuffy. A fan would be a good addition.
  Lockbox for the key did not seem to work. It would open on any combination.

  The apartment is close to the center, it can be easily reached by bus, but you can walk there as well, it’s a nice neighbourhood.
  There is a store and a park nearby which makes the location even better.
  The kitchen is equipped, there is a coffee machine, water heater and lots of cups and mugs as well.
  
  What could be improved: The day before our arrival they told us that we cannot stay in the apartment that we booked. They offered us a different one, which was also a good option, but it made the arrival a little bit more stressful. The apartment was not properly cleaned, on our arrival the towels were dirty (there was someone’s hair on the towel), the plates were not as clean as you would expect.

  The place was nice, however, the way it is advertised seems to be a one bedroom and it is actually a studio apartment.
  
  What could be improved: The staff was not helpful and unresponsive. I had issues with check in and tried to get help, but they did not get back to me until the next day. I booked for a week for 2 people and they did not leave enough supplies (towels, coffee, trash bags).I asked for an extra hour at checkout and they did not grant it because they said someone was checking in, but I noticed the place was available that day.

  The apartment had a good location, and the bathroom was decent.
  
  What could be improved: The apartment was very cold, with radiator heating that took 2-3 days to warm up due to the high ceilings. We were given one small, short blanket for two people, and when I asked for another, I was told it wasn’t included in the price. The bedsheet kept slipping off as it had no elastic, and both the bed and pillows were quite uncomfortable.

  Bardzo fajne mieszkanko, w sam raz na weekendowy wyjazd. Ładnie urządzone i czyste. Świetna lokalizacja.
  
  What could be improved: Minusem jest brzydki zapach w łazience- najprawdopodobniej z kanalizacji. Nie sądzę ze jest to kwestia zaniedbania czystości. Być moze jakiś problem z rurami.
