You know what? P&O Apartments Zgoda Pod Orlami is one of those places that surprises you in the best way. I mean, when you first see the address on Zgoda street, you might think “where exactly am I going?” – but honestly, that’s part of what makes it great. You’re right in Śródmieście, which locals just call the city center, and once you figure out the building (it’s actually pretty easy to spot), you realize you’ve landed in this perfect little pocket of Warsaw that feels authentically Polish without being touristy.

The apartments themselves are solid – nothing fancy, but everything works, which is more than I can say for some places I’ve stayed in Warsaw. The rooms have this lived-in feeling that’s actually quite comfortable, like staying at a well-organized relative’s place. What really got me was how quiet it stays at night, even though you’re basically in the heart of everything. I was expecting city noise, but the street’s positioned in a way that you get the convenience without the constant traffic sounds. The check-in process was refreshingly straightforward too – no pretentious lobby drama, just practical people who know what travelers actually need. Pro tip: if you’re arriving by car, ask about parking right away because street parking in this area can be… well, let’s just say it’s an adventure.

Here’s what I really appreciated – you can walk to the Old Town in about fifteen minutes (maybe twenty if you’re stopping for photos), but you’re also close enough to some of the better local restaurants that aren’t completely overrun with tour groups. There’s this little milk bar just a few streets over that serves pierogi that’ll ruin you for the tourist versions forever. The tram connections are actually fantastic from here – I found myself using public transport way more than I planned because it was just so easy to hop on and explore different neighborhoods. Honestly, for a 3-star place with a 7.9 rating, it delivers exactly what you’d hope for: clean, comfortable, well-located, and reasonably priced. It’s not going to blow your mind with luxury amenities, but if you want a genuine base for exploring Warsaw without paying Old Town hotel prices, this hits the sweet spot. The only minor thing – and I’m being picky here – is that the Wi-Fi can get a bit sluggish during peak hours, but that might just be Warsaw in general.

  What could be improved: We had a lot of problems getting in and when communicating with staff. Left us frustrated. Actually getting into apartment was difficult and we were stuck walking with our luggage for 4 hours. Earlier entry would be good as it gets dark and cold early in winter. Also having key outside building in a lock box would be better. Security guard had no idea we needed to get in to get key and she didn’t want to let us in. Very frustrating.

  The property was newly renovated, close to the attractions and with a great view.
  
  What could be improved: The instructions were not so clear and the door man wouldn’t allow us to get the keys from the mailbox, he showed us some lockbox outside the building that had no relation with our reservation. Also the management required 500 pln zloty to be charged from another platform as a guarantee for the booking but no one appeared to verify that the apartment was left without any issues. I took a video of the apartment how it was left before our departure just in case.

  What could be improved: Al llegar, las instrucciones para coger la llave no eran del todo correctas y el portero inicialmente no nos quería abrir el portal del edificio, paso previo a poder coger las llaves del buzón.

  Świetna lokalizacja, wszędzie blisko. Super udogodnienia w postaci telewizora, wielu naczyń i przyrządów do gotowania.
  
  What could be improved: Słabo posprzątany apartament, pozostawiane smugi na lustrach, brudna pościel drugiego kompletu kołdry, zabrudzone szuflady i schowki na buty.. Okropny internet, przez co oglądanie czegokolwiek graniczyło z cudem.

  What could be improved: Był problem z kluczami, niestety nikt nie odbierał telefonu aby udzielić pomocy. Dzięki pomocy Pana ochroniarza (nie mający nic wspólnego z lokalem) zdobyliśmy nr telefonu do właściciela i po jego kilku telefonach do firmy zajmującej się wynajmem otrzymaliśmy pomoc. Prześcieradło dostaliśmy używane i z dużymi plamami (chyba krew). Brak poszewek na poduszki w pokoju.
