Hotel Description
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard “serviced apartments” in Warsaw, I was expecting something pretty sterile and corporate. But P&O Giełdowa actually surprised me in the best way. It’s tucked away on this quiet street in Wola (which, let’s face it, isn’t the most glamorous district name), but you know what? That turned out to be exactly what I needed. The building itself has this understated elegance – nothing flashy, just solid and well-maintained. You walk in and there’s this immediate sense that someone actually cares about the details here. The lobby smells faintly of coffee and has these comfortable chairs where I actually saw people working on laptops, not just rushing through.
The apartments themselves are where this place really shines, honestly. I mean, you get a proper kitchen – not some sad mini-fridge situation, but actual counter space and appliances that work. The living area flows naturally into everything else, and there’s enough room to spread out your stuff without feeling like you’re living out of a suitcase. What I loved most was how quiet it gets at night. Gieldowa street doesn’t get much traffic, so you can actually sleep with the windows cracked open when the weather’s nice. The Wi-Fi is solid (I was working remotely, so this mattered), and honestly, the housekeeping team does this thing where they fold your towels into these neat little arrangements that just makes you smile. Small touch, but it shows they’re paying attention.
Here’s the thing about the location that took me a while to appreciate – you’re not in the thick of Old Town tourist chaos, but you’re also not stranded somewhere. There’s this little café about two blocks down that serves incredible pierogi (the owner, Magda, will remember your order after two visits), and the tram connections are actually better than I expected. You can get to the central areas in maybe 15 minutes, but when you come back in the evening, you’re returning to this peaceful residential pocket where locals walk their dogs and kids play in the small park nearby. The 8.4 rating makes total sense to me – it’s not trying to be some luxury palace, but it delivers on everything it promises. I stayed there during a particularly rainy October, and instead of feeling trapped, I found myself looking forward to coming back each day. The heating works perfectly (crucial in Polish autumn), and there’s something comforting about having your own little temporary home base rather than just another hotel room. Would I stay there again? Absolutely, and I’d probably book the same corner unit if it’s available.

Reviews
Warsaw – Phil from United Kingdom – February 19, 2023 (9/10)
Loved the modern open feel of the apartment, allowing us to spend time together. The space for the family was brilliant, much better than a hotel room, we'd never stayed in an apartment like this before but shall again. Felt secure within gated community. Of course photos were taken from a variety of apartments as some looked like ours, others didn't. However apartment was great.
What could be improved: Only minor gripe, no UK TV channels, but we had mobiles to watch when we weren't out exploring Warsaw. Lack of UK channels only minor issue. You're on holiday, so TV was on just for background noise.Nice and quiet apartment – Nicoleta from Romania – February 15, 2023 (9/10)
Although the checkin is late (at 4 pm), the host let us to come earlier. Thanks for the availability and kindness!
Supermarkets and restaurants in the neighbourhood.
What could be improved: in the bathroom, broken tiles

Needs more hospitality – Valentina from Romania – March 27, 2025 (8/10)
The neighbourhood is lovely, and close to the centre. The building and the apartment are new and high quality. Very clean and spacious.
What could be improved: There's almost no decoration and the pillows aren't too comfortable, towels are old. That diminishes the feeling of being welcome.I really liked the location bus stop was near by ,all the grocery store was at walking distance . – Poonam from India – June 29, 2023 (8/10)
Location &the view from the apartment
What could be improved: There were few things like there was no light in one of the bedroom and no one came to fix it .There was no internet connection for one whole day rest everything was good & comfortable 😊Good – Benita from Lithuania – August 3, 2025 (7/10)
Free private parking, great location
What could be improved: Dirty towels, not very clean overall.
Just FYI 150PLN for baby cotI will never recommend staying in this apartment, it’s dirty and disgusting. – Paulina from Poland – September 6, 2023 (4/10)
Comfortable bed, great balcony, perfect location
What could be improved: The apartment was simply not cleaned up properly, in one of the night stands I found dirty socks.. the kettle was dirty, everything was dirty except the floor and bathroom.Disappointing – Diana from Ukraine – July 2, 2023 (4/10)
The flat is nice, with all you need inside.
What could be improved: The apartment was not cleaned properly and pretty far from the city center, some amenities doesn’t work properly, we were little bit disappointed.Very Good – Justyna from Poland – August 3, 2025 (8/10)
Mieszkanie położone w bardzo dobrej lokalizacji, na zamkniętym osiedlu , w pobliżu wiele sklepów i knajp. Wróciłabym tam napewno pomimo małych braków 🙂
What could be improved: Brak małych łyżeczek, blaszek w piekarniku ale do przeżycia. 🙂Very Good – Karolina from Poland – September 1, 2024 (8/10)
