So I’ll be honest – when I first heard about P&O Serviced Apartments on Czerska, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The name sounds kind of corporate, you know? But actually spending time there completely changed my perspective on what a 4-star place in Mokotów could offer.

The thing about this neighborhood is that it’s authentically Warsaw without trying too hard. You’re not in the touristy Old Town scramble, but you’re also not stuck in some soulless business district. Mokotów has this lived-in feeling – there are actual families walking around, decent coffee shops that locals frequent, and you can get to the city center without it being this whole production. The apartments themselves surprised me with how much space you actually get. I mean, we’re talking proper living areas here, not those cramped hotel rooms where you’re bumping into furniture every time you turn around. The kitchenettes are functional enough that you could actually cook something beyond instant noodles (though honestly, with all the good pierogi places nearby, why would you?). What I really appreciated was the soundproofing – Czerska can get a bit busy during rush hour, but inside you hardly notice it.

The service feels more personal than what you’d get at those big chain hotels. Check-in was surprisingly smooth, and the staff actually seemed to know the area well enough to give real recommendations, not just the standard tourist traps. I asked about getting to Wilanów Palace on a Sunday, and they knew exactly which tram connections would save me time – that kind of local knowledge you can’t fake. The 8.1 rating makes sense to me because while everything works well and the value is solid, it’s not trying to be fancy in ways that don’t matter. The lobby’s comfortable but not Instagram-worthy, the amenities cover what you need without unnecessary frills, and honestly? Sometimes that’s exactly what you want. You get the reliability of a good 4-star experience without paying for marble everything or a concierge in a fancy uniform who doesn’t actually know the neighborhood as well as the regular front desk staff.

Hotel in Warsaw booking should be done early, especially during major cultural festivals when the city hosts internationally significant music and arts events.

  The apartment looked nice. There was a big kitchen with dishwasher and all the main utensils. TV had Netflix logged in. There is a private parking spot in underground parking.

  The apartment was spotless clean and very spacious.
  The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. Good location for main bus route, only 4 minutes walk. We wanted to stay in this area as we were visiting family here but it is a good location for travelling.
  Key safe for access was excellent and instructions with address given early, which was appreciated. Only downside on this was we had to wait till 16.00 to check in, think this may have been miscommunicated on WhatsApp.
  Added bonus was the large supermarket downstairs, no need to go further for groceries or essentials.
  The photos do not do it justice as the fixtures and fittings were superior.
