Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name “Quiet Apartment Koscielna Old Town,” I was a bit skeptical. I mean, how quiet can anything really be in the heart of Krakow’s Old Town? But you know what, they actually nailed it with that name. This little gem sits on Koscielna Street, which is one of those narrow cobblestone lanes that most tourists rush past on their way to the main square, and that’s exactly what makes it perfect.

The apartment itself feels like someone’s actual home – not in that “we forgot to make the beds” way, but in the good way where everything just works and makes sense. The owner clearly knows what travelers need because there are those little touches you don’t expect from a 3-star place. The kitchen has proper coffee (not just instant), the shower pressure is surprisingly good, and honestly, the beds are more comfortable than some fancy hotels I’ve stayed at. The whole space has this warm, lived-in feeling with exposed brick walls and wooden beams that remind you you’re sleeping in a building that’s probably older than your great-grandmother. What really impressed me was how they’ve managed to soundproof the place – you’re literally steps away from St. Mary’s Basilica and the main square, but come evening when you close those heavy windows, it’s genuinely peaceful.

Here’s the thing about the location that the guidebooks don’t tell you – Koscielna Street puts you right in the sweet spot where you can stumble back from dinner in two minutes, but you’re not dealing with the drunk bachelor parties at 3 AM. The street itself has this great little bakery (grab the oscypek if they have it) and a tiny grocery store that stays open late, which saved me more than once. Parking is tricky, I won’t lie – but that’s true anywhere in the Old Town, and they’ll actually give you solid advice about where to leave your car if you’re driving. The tram stop is maybe a five-minute walk, though honestly, you probably won’t need it much since everything worth seeing is walkable. I stayed here during shoulder season in October, and while the main square was still packed with tour groups during the day, our little street stayed quiet – I imagine summer might be different, but the windows are good enough that it probably won’t matter. The 9.3 rating makes total sense once you’re there; it’s not luxury, but it’s exactly what it promises to be, and sometimes that’s worth more than all the fancy amenities in the world.

  Great location, easy to find a place for a car at the public parking places near the facility, easy self check in, clean, very quite with the view into the inner yard, separate kitchen with everything you can need. Definitely a choice for the future Warsaw visits !

  Quiet location, clear instructions for entry. Good sized apartment, clean, complementary wine and water a lovely thought although we didn't use them. Bed is comfortable two quilts was a great touch especially when cold outside. Good proximity to the old town, easily walkable. Supermarkets and restaurants nearby.

  Nice finishings and attention to detail, short walk to old town, beautiful views outside window of inner courtyard. Having a washing machine with liquid provided was a wonderful bonus. Once you enter the gate (code provided) the entrance door is immediately on your right while still inside the tunnel (don't walk through into the courtyard). Then walk upstairs to first floor where you find the apartment entrance.

  Great location, a good size apartment, quiet, overlooking garden courtyard. Comfy bed, modern deco, lovely bathroom. The owners could not be more helpful and friendly. They let us check in earlier. I’d stay here again and will certainly recommend it. A little gem very near to the old town.

  Perfect accommodation. Wonderful elegant apartment with pleasant atmosphere, well equipped, everything clean, quiet surroundings, easy access to the centre. Next time we will know where to stay again.
