Look, I’ve stayed at plenty of fancy hotels in Warsaw, but Raffles Europejski is honestly something else entirely. When you walk through those doors on Krakowskie Przedmieście – and trust me, you can’t miss the building, it’s this gorgeous Belle Époque masterpiece right across from the Hotel Bristol – you immediately get why this place has a 9.5 rating. The lobby alone made me stop in my tracks, not because it’s flashy, but because everything feels so deliberately chosen. The marble, the lighting, even the way they’ve restored those original architectural details… it’s like stepping into old European elegance that actually works in 2024.

What really got me was how they’ve managed to make a five-star property feel approachable. The staff – and I mean everyone from the doorman to housekeeping – seemed genuinely happy to be there, which you know is rare in luxury hotels. My room overlooked the Royal Route (you’ll hear some street noise during the day, but honestly, it’s worth it for the view), and I spent way too much time just watching people walk toward the Old Town. The bathroom alone was bigger than some hotel rooms I’ve stayed in, with this massive soaking tub that I actually used every night – the water pressure was incredible, by the way.

Here’s what I wish someone had told me before booking: the hotel’s restaurant is legitimately excellent, not just “good for a hotel restaurant.” I ended up eating there three nights out of four because the chef really knows what they’re doing with both Polish classics and international dishes. Also, if you’re planning to explore Warsaw on foot – which you absolutely should – you’re literally steps from everything that matters. The Royal Castle is maybe a ten-minute walk, Nowy Świat is right there for shopping and cafes, and you can easily stroll to the Old Town Square without breaking a sweat. I actually saw other guests using taxis to get places I was walking to in five minutes. The concierge team really knows their stuff too – they sent me to this tiny pierogi place in a courtyard off Foksal Street that I never would have found on my own, and it ended up being one of my favorite meals of the trip. Honestly, between the location, the service, and just the overall attention to detail, I get why Raffles chose Warsaw for their Polish debut. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to plan your next trip back before you’ve even checked out.

  I highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Warsaw. It has perfect location: a park nearby, close to the old town, lots of restaurants and cafes nearby, a branded clothes boutique across the street. Amazing service, very friendly personnel , clean room, very lovely interiors, amazing breakfast. This will be my main choice when visiting Warsaw.

  There is too much to say about this hotel. Absolutely amazing. The price is no where near to what you would expect for any hotel this quality and luxury in Europe. Although Warsaw is not as beautiful as Krakow, I would recommend visiting Warsaw just to experience the delight staying here.

  The staff was very friendly and helpful; they provided good service. The bed was very comfortable, and the walk-in shower was nice. The interiors and design were good as well. It was a nice touch that they wrote a note by hand to wish me a good stay.
